I supposed it would be useful to difficult gun access to criminals.

Number of school shootings in the U.S Vs E.U: U.S wins. Where do teenage boys get weapons?

Check this sites:

http://www.time.com/time/europe/magazin ... story.html

If you choose to not believe the numbers, then you find out information contesting them.

I didn't manage to get a tabel specifying the exact number and type of gun deaths in the E.U, but did find out one with more actual values for the U.S:

To be honest, I'd rather do away with all mandatory firearm registration and background checks. The mandatory firearm registration allows any tyrannical government to know who has a gun and who doesn't while background checks take up a lot of departmental resources that could be used in catching real criminals.
Well, that's an opinion. I don't agree, but you may be right in the control part.
I assure you we value democracy in Europe. A lot. And we have weapons control and.. Identity cards (with the exception of the U.K).

Obviously, you're completely correct about the training.

Still, 63 is still an extremelly low number by U.S standards

And I don't believe the numbers to vary greatly in other countries of the E.U
Don't you get what I'm saying?
There where more shootings in a Country where its OUTRIGHT Illeagle for people to own hand-guns than in a country where the only real restrictions is the amount of training you have to go through(Remeber the Swiss Army requires that you keep a weapon on you at all times and an Assult Rifle at your home)

Sorry, I thought I had been clear. I agree with you.
The swiss method is better than in the U.S or E.U.

I just pointed out afterwards that, as it is,I prefer the E.U situation than that of the U.S.

But I don't think It would be easy to imitate the swiss. They have a very strong tradition on the subject and it's a very rich country without the kind of social problems wich affect others. I shiver thinking of London with a assault rifle in every home

Prehaps the first month would be bad but I see smooth sailing after that
