When you do law, it's rare that something funny happens. There are the occasional gems, like studying the summary offense of swearing at a police officer and reading in the facts of a case that the Aboriginal man in question told the police officer to

"fuck off, you dog arse cunts"

but I digress.

Well they scrapped the ability for people to appeal to the British supreme/high court if it got blocked in the high court in Australia.

Thats nothing, here in NYC, the Supreme Court is the LOWEST court in the state, the Appellate Court is the highest Court of the state.
