Sean Hannity needs to shut the hell up and let the guests answer the questions rather than hector them every 3 seconds.
I have been listening to the Hannity & Colmes show, and Hannity's habit of constantly interrupting the 'guests' rather than letting them actually answer the question that he asked them is annoying.
What I'm waiting for is one of them to say 'I'm answering the question, so shut the fuck up.'
Alan Colmes had the same habit on his radio show.
Perhaps that's who Hannity got it from.

"You say that it is your custom to burn widows. Very well. We also have a custom: when men burn a woman alive, we tie a rope around their necks and we hang them. Build your funeral pyre; beside it, my carpenters will build a gallows. You may follow your custom. And then we will follow ours."- General Sir Charles Napier

I didn't know if this belonged in Politics or Off Topic.

Not just that, but horrible false dilemma, red herring, and black/white fallacies.
"You know what the problem with Hollywood is. They make shit. Unbelievable. Unremarkable. Shit." - Gabriel Shear, Swordfish
"This statement, in its utterly clueless hubristic stupidity, cannot be improved upon. I merely quote it in admiration of its perfection." - Garibaldi in reply to an incredibly stupid post.

Excessive use of buzz words as well, esp. "blaming American first." He repeats this not unlike a robot.Illuminatus Primus wrote:Not just that, but horrible false dilemma, red herring, and black/white fallacies.
I honestly prefer Colmes, not because of his politics, but because he's a much more civil debater.

I'm studying for the CPA exam. Have a nice summer, and if you're down just sit back and realize that Joe is off somewhere, doing much worse than you are.
Savage is a rabid, stick-TNT-up-a-liberal-ass type of guy, not unlike Fred Phelps and Annthrax Coulter, and certainly not ashamed to admit it.
Hannity, despite not yelling and getting red in the face like Savage, comes off as a smug prick. That smugness makes me want to reach through my TV and stick jabaneros up his nose.

"Right now we can tell you a report was filed by the family of a 12 year old boy yesterday afternoon alleging Mr. Michael Jackson of criminal activity. A search warrant has been filed and that search is currently taking place. Mr. Jackson has not been charged with any crime. We cannot specifically address the content of the police report as it is confidential information at the present time, however, we can confirm that Mr. Jackson forced the boy to listen to the Howard Stern show and watch the movie Private Parts over and over again."
I can't listen to that fellow. Tried once, but could feel brain cells shutting down, so switched back to my trusty jazz station. Used to like Rush Limbaugh when I was in college, but the man can't stop puffing up his ego, so I don't listen to him anymore. I do like listening to Micheal Medved though. He airs up here in the Northwest. Don't know if he's nation-wide or not.Superman wrote:Well, he has to be better than that Nazi, Michael Savage. Has anyone else heard this guy? He's like a cross between Adolf Hitler and McCarthy from the 50's.
At least Ann Coulter is easier on the eyes.

They should give P.J. O'Rourke his own show. He's funny as fuck and Bill O'Reilley has proven nobody is too ugly for TV.
Any city gets what it admires, will pay for, and, ultimately, deserves…We want and deserve tin-can architecture in a tinhorn culture. And we will probably be judged not by the monuments we build but by those we have destroyed.--Ada Louise Huxtable, "Farewell to Penn Station", New York Times editorial, 30 October 1963

But they won't because PJ is way too libertarian and sees right through the bullshit that is the 'War on Drugs'.
However, a show that I would love to see would be one with PJ O'Rourke vs. Bill Maher.
PJ would gut that smug prick like a Christmas turkey.
