Would you drink the Blood of the living to retain your life and youth indefinatly? If so what moral justification can you claim for your actions?

Keep in m ind for this senario you have to drink the Blood right out of them, and they have do DIE for you to continue to live.

For this senario your just returning back to the state you were in before you "vamped up". Meaning that you just return to the same age/medical condition you were in before.

From a moral standpoint, it'd depend on if this question is making the assumption that everyone we suck the blood of dies. Is that the case, or could we just, say, drink medical blood (ie. Does the blood need to be fresh?), or only enough from a person so that they don't die?

Seriously I don't think that there is any moral justification for doing that, but I would do it non the less. The rewards of immortality are just too great to pass by. What is the blood of a few unfortunate victims in your gut when you get to see what the world will look like a thousand years from now?

Nope. I wouldn't kill now to further myself, I'm not going to do it for immortality either. Killing "evil" people might seem OK, but as an individual you aren't in a position to be a judge/jury/executioner to people. You also have a conflict of interest because you benefit from pronouncing people guilty. You would be a threat to society (because you might screw up, either from killing innocent, or too harsh a punishment) and would have to be hunted and put down.

Now if I could live off animals and such, then I'd be OK with that.

Sure I would. If I'd need to kill and drink blood to survive, then I'd do it. People kill cows and eat them to survive, and most people don't have a problem with that. Why should I, as a vampire (which I would be if I needed other peoples's blood to survive), have a problem with killing people?

Depnds on what sort of blood you're talking about? Since you don't limit it to just human blood I'd say yes and drink either animal blood or medical blood. I don't think I'd want to live for ever but a few millenium might be cool.

Flawed reasoning. Cows are lower down the food chain then we are. You assume superiority over the people you must kill to survive.
