Feeble update

Post by Darth Wong »

Well, I just made a feeble update to my main website. It's really more of a news update, but if you're curious where my current site development direction is headed, feel free to check it out.

I though he used the scripts to make the data base?

Hey the show is only a Level 4 Biohazard due to excessive Crappyness. The Scripts are a Level 5 Biohazard. Hope Mike's "Spacesuit" is up to specs.

Hmm... it'd be more "accurate" to watch the shows, because there might be slight differences between them and the scripts. And by watching the shows you get to examine the visual evidence, as well.

Why not just link to HDS's site instead of creating your own Official Database?

GAT: Yes, I have DS9 scripts.
Singular Quartet: any help with the Bible Database would be great, although I still have to set that up so it's a bit off in the future
Ender: Yes, I should link to HDS's website. However, I consider my analyses of canon events to be just as important a component of my database as the cites themselves.

PS. The beta search engine for the database is now online, although you should beware that blank search terms are interpreted as a global dump command, and you'll get the whole thing (I'm working on splitting it up into pages).

How will you survive Voyager? Will you watch it in 5 minute intervals, and spend a few more minutes purging the thought from your head? Will you just resist the crappiness as best as you can?

Considering everything in modern Star Trek comes from TOS, I'd say it's pretty important.

Except that Enterprise is overwriting it all, making it moot.

I really think that some time soon we are going to have to make a distinction, and seperate the series. TOS and TNG will remain Star Trek, while everything else will become known as Star Drek.

I have a question; in the face of direct contradictions between Enterprise and TOS which is canon and which is crap?

Well, I don't consider Enterprise canon anyways. :D

According to Tweedledee and Tweedledum, Enterprise is canon, while TOS is not. However, I do it the other way around.

I thought that Enterprise wasn't technically Star Trek?

I would think he bought the Star Trek Companions, since his collection of the scripts seems to be complete. I was only able to find a handful of Voyager scripts online, and they only extended up to Season 4. (Well, better than Seasons 6 & 7. anyway...) I also searched for Deep Space Nine scripts, but couldn't find any at all.

Wong: Gotcha. I'll be laughing my way through Genisis, and checking out the Skeptic's annotated bible. Also, I might be posting some sort of Theory about the first and parts of the Second chapter of Genisis in a little bit...

To others: TOS isn't canon? That's immpossible! TOS characters were on TNG and DS9! Those those series are voided too! And characters from TNG were on VOY!! That means that its voided too (WHOOHOO!!!!)

But, wait... that means all that's left is... is... DEAR GOD, NO! NOT ENTERPRISE!!

AHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!

Nope, not even Enterprise.

See, TNG met with Cochran in FC, and Cochran was in the premier of Enterprise giving a speech on video as the ship was launched so...
