Witch Hunter Robin
Anybody else seen this great anime yet? I just got it yesterday, and watched Eps 1-5. It's basically about a secret organization called STN that's dedicated to hunting down witches that harm people or snap when their powers manifest. It seems that being a witch is a hereditary trait. Sona Robin is a 15 year old "Craft-user" (Uses witchcraft, but not genetically one... I think) who throws fire around to help capture the witches. It's a little like Hellsing, but very dark and gothic. Hell, the main character never wears anything except black, those she does sleep naked
I am seriously considering getting the boxed set for this when it's licensed and comes out. I even changed my avatar because I like it so much.

"Right now we can tell you a report was filed by the family of a 12 year old boy yesterday afternoon alleging Mr. Michael Jackson of criminal activity. A search warrant has been filed and that search is currently taking place. Mr. Jackson has not been charged with any crime. We cannot specifically address the content of the police report as it is confidential information at the present time, however, we can confirm that Mr. Jackson forced the boy to listen to the Howard Stern show and watch the movie Private Parts over and over again."

I watched the entire series. I suppose it wouldn't be saying too much that the plot of the series picks up around episode 11. And I agree with you that that it's very much like Hellsing.

So far I have seen the first 4 episodes. Its a pretty cool show and the art/animation is really well done. I have heard that the first 10 or 11 episodes basically have the "Monster of the Week" thing going in terms of plot but after that it erupts into its main plot and turns out to be very interesting.
The music in the show is also quite well done. I especially liked the intro theme.

It's nice, though I would like to find out exactly what Robin's "fire" ability REALLY is. She burns freaking ANYTHING.
I am capable of rearranging the fundamental building blocks of the universe in under six seconds. I shelve physics texts under "Fiction" in my personal library! I am grasping the reigns of the universe's carriage, and every morning get up and shout "Giddy up, boy!" You may never grasp the complexities of what I do, but at least have the courtesy to feign something other than slack-jawed oblivion in my presence. I, sir, am a wizard, and I break more natural laws before breakfast than of which you are even aware!

Seen the entire series, that's why I know she burns ANYTHING.

I saw a very small portion of it at AnimeIowa last year. I believe it was the premire of the dub. However, I thought the dub was pretty crappy, and I must have walked in at the wrong time, since I saw no point to the series.
I'll give it a try again sometime. Subtitled, of course.
