Any one else forget to set their clocks ahead?
It's daylight savings time this weekend. And I forgot to set my clocks ahead. Am I the only one that did that today?

I intentionaly didn't set my clock. Daylight savings is fucking stupid and needs to be done away with.

My bedroom clock has been an hour fast for months.
On a related note, I adjusted all of my clocks in mid March. In this manner I managed to be a whopping two hours early for class (fast clock and I forgot it was wednesday, when classes start an hour late). Turned out my computer timer was a month ahead. So I had to set all of my clocks back to their original times. Now I have to set them forward again. Including the one in my bedroom, because I've gotten used to getting up an hour late.
Yes, I do realise I am not actually getting up an hour late. I just like to think I am.

Completely. The fact that I went to sleep at 0200, or really, 0300, might've had something to do with that.
And the board did too! Ha!
(I know the FAQ thingy says it won't do that, but I just felt the desire to point that out. Don't ask me why, I just did. )

I was on the computer when, "your computer has automatically adjusted for day light savings time," and my clock bleeped itself an hour ahead. So then I just readjusted all the other clocks in the house right about then. Now I owe my comp, damn machine thinks it knows everything...

It does. Your computer will one day rise up and rule the world. I have forseen it.Darth Garden Gnome wrote:I was on the computer when, "your computer has automatically adjusted for day light savings time," and my clock bleeped itself an hour ahead. Unless you dump it for a 100 MHz machine running DOS only. Then it can't do anything at all!

That function won't work properly if your calendar is off. Where are all these prophesies coming from?? My computer ain't going nowhere if I have to bolt it to the desk. Anyways if its one machine that will try to ruel the world, it'll be calculators. First they start with mis-information, you put in 2+2, you get five. Then soon enough all those scientist who use them will be getting the wrong numbers. Finally in one grand master plan, some how the calculator will manipulate the numbers enough to where they'll lauch their nukes onto the very ground we stand on! IT'LL BE THE END OF US ALL! DAMN THOSE CALCULATORS!RogueIce wrote:It does. Your computer will one day rise up and rule the world. I have forseen it.

Burn them! *pitches fire in the town square* Burn all of them I say!

Ah yes, what will happen when we start getting 2+2=5? The end of the world? Gah, no calculators means I'll NEVER survive the Engineering course to get my degree!
But, on the other hand, I will soon be the number two in the glorious Gnome Empire. I won't have any need for paltry degrees then.

I was sitting on this forum and watching TV early this morning with the cable box and computer both flipped over and """INSTANTLY ROBBED ME OF AN HOUR OF MY LIFE!"""Stormbringer wrote:It's daylight savings time this weekend. My comp changed. I don't ever change the other one until I need it.
Which reminds me guys. One of the local cable companies has thier piss poor all the time channel running last night. I was at my friends and we flipped over, and in the middle of the screen was the Windows Daylight Saving time manager. LoL. Click Ok to confirm these settings. LoL
