I'm studying for the CPA exam. Have a nice summer, and if you're down just sit back and realize that Joe is off somewhere, doing much worse than you are.

I still can't believe that a billion people worldwide believe so frevently in a fella who can create a universe but has trouble with iron chariots. Seriously, the Bible is so awfully written that just looking at it makes me want to buy the latest Kevin J. Anderson for a bit of comparitivley superior writing.

I still like the part where God brags that he has storehouses full of hailstones, just in case of war. Reminds me of that con artist "Ardra" from TNG.

GOD, duh. Come on, what's wrong with you people? Sheriden says that GOD can wipe out the entire eastern seaboard. 1,000 iron chariots is nothing compared to that kind of firepower.

It depends on the rate of fire of a GOD cannon and the dispersion of the chariots. If the cannon can fire only a single shot, and the chariots are dispersed over the entire surface of the planet, there is no way GOD can kill them all. Please show calcs proving GOD can waste all 1000 chariots.

And what eastern seaboard are you talking about? the seabord of eastern Jamaica would be a pretty minor accomlishment.

All this again points to the Arcanum theory of magic/technological destructive interference being true.

God couldn't effect something technological, just as the iron chariots couldn't destroy something as inherently magical as god.

Yes they can. All they have to do is stop believing in him.

But what counts as "technology"? A sword, aze, or a stone knife are all forms of technology.
I am capable of rearranging the fundamental building blocks of the universe in under six seconds. I shelve physics texts under "Fiction" in my personal library! I am grasping the reigns of the universe's carriage, and every morning get up and shout "Giddy up, boy!" You may never grasp the complexities of what I do, but at least have the courtesy to feign something other than slack-jawed oblivion in my presence. I, sir, am a wizard, and I break more natural laws before breakfast than of which you are even aware!

True, and you can usually kill a wizard by sticking a knife in him, if you can get that close.

You know those must be really crappy hailstones if he can't call up a storm to knock out the chariots.

Man, I bet Storm from the X-Men could lay the smackdown on his ass.

If you're Conan, you could kill a wizard by falling down and letting your character shield take care of it. :D

Depends. Are we talking about the Old Testament God or the New Testament God? Because the Old Testament God was badass. I mean, he said he'd never do it again, but remember things like Sodom and Gamorrah? And what about Noah's flood? Iron chariots don't float, guys.

But God as he "exists" now is kind of a pussy. I mean, no fire and brimstone, no vengeance... Just a book of stuff he did and said. That's it. And the God is Jesus thing... so he can turn water... into... wine... WAIT!!

Get this: Jesus is God, so he can do things that God can do. So he breaks his covenant with Noah and floods the earth... THEN TURNS THE WHOLE FUCKING PLANET INTO WINE! Iron charioteers get so plastered they don't know which way is up, and God smites them all. End of battle. God wins.

That whole water to wine thing was highly over-rated. I mean, what, nobody back then ever heard of vodka?

Too bad it was the Old Testament God who was stymied by the iron chariots, then. Read your Bible.
