It is fun to watch, and I think the mods are amused by the fact that people think they can take over the board. I mean, unless your group ends up controlling 99% of the posts, you are nothing compared to the power of the edit/delete/lock of the mods.

They may find it as amusing as they like, up until they get a golden knife driven into their heart! I'm on the front lawn, I see all sorts off interesting stuff. I could blackmail each and every one fo you here, you know.

Sure.. peon.~CO

And the reason the MODs are amused by my genious is because they don't really know whats going on behind the scenes. I've got Gnomes everywhere, at any moment I could assinate the leaders of this board, spacebattles, EAS (and all of the SCN in general), TF.Net, ect. I'm just biding my time, but once EpIII comes out, this human world has nothing left to offer me. Watch your back MODs, this Gnomes out for ya!

Even if you do have 99% of the posts, the mods just need to declare some carefuly chosen threads spam and you are back to nothing.
This is nothing but a fascist police state down with the mods! Down with the Supermods! Cuastom titles for all! *flunky runs in and whispers in ear* Whaddaya mean it'll never happen... something more realistic... hmmmm.. Snocones for all, down with falling rocks!

Ah, we have a dissident who doubts the power of the great Vast Right Wing Conspiracy.

You ARE aware that I didn't drink any glass of wine, now or within the last few days. You, on the other hand, have been fed disinformation for most of the time your movement existed.

Have a very nice day.

You ARE aware that when you drank said wine, you happened to be....unconsious...

Myself, I have just purged the Gnomish Hordes completely, and bought a new set from within my own private labrotories: GNOMICON. Any spies you once had have been exterminated. I will now engage in rigorous loyalty-trials from this day forth. Said trials may include...killing a captured Cult of Fgalkin prisoner? Lets see 'em hold under that.

How so do I hate small textexcept when used as part of my misinformation plots, and I'm afraid I must inform you,

*watches as Gnomes raid CoF outpost, brutally slaughtering the hapless supports of the pathetic cult*

things are working out quite nicely.

Now, most unfortunately, time is short (especially for you fgalkin, that poison may be slow-acting, but it'll get the job done soon enough) and I'm afraid my duties lie eslewhere at the moment. As such, I shall depart.

Back on topic, I would say yes, AB does deserve a custom title, seeing as he has the requisite number of posts, and they are occasionally memorable...

At least to me...

And discounting his contribution to the 'funny joke' thread....

I don't believe custom titles should go to people who know how to post. I like Mike's 'you have to do something important or notable to get a title' plan.

That, and it'll make me feel THAAAAAAT much more important if I ever get one!
Note: I'm semi-retired from the board, so if you need something, please be patient.
