BAD MOTHER NATURE! BAD!

Post by MKSheppard »

http://www.sciencedaily.com/releases/20 ... 082228.htm
Twice an Exxon Valdez spill worth of oil seeps into the Gulf of Mexico every year, according to a new study that will be presented January 27 at the Ocean Sciences Meeting in San Antonio, Texas.
Found this by looking up OIL SEEPS on google.com....

That cruel heartless bitch of a mother nature is harming those
beautiful seagulls by dumping 2x the amount of oil in the
Exxon Valdez into the Gulf of Mexico each year!

But that is only a small amount being dissapated by the ocean. Exxon Valdez was thousands of gallons in a day. It just swamped the poor critters.

Not to mention the bird suicide squads that ram the cars windows at high speeds on the highway.

I always find it strange that the bird suicide squads are heading away from my car looking back with a panic stricked expression on their little beaks when my car rams into them. Just one of those strange unexplained events I suppose

You do now. Of course, San Antonio is pretty big, and I bet most of the people on the board are illegal immigrants. Put it in Texas, they can flee back to Mexico.

Don’t laugh at the dangers of pelican attack, one bought down a B1A prototype over the gulf in the eighties. That’s a damn big plane.

That last post brings a happy picture to my head. I remember watching a show on TV where they shot birds thru running jet engines and filmed it in super slo-mo. It was pretty cool watching the birds get chopped into 1" thick slices by the fan blades, and all the slices would still be moving in the same direction after getting diced up. Damn cool show, too bad they didn't show what happens after the birdies get sucked into the hot part of then engine. :(

And you failed to notice that the oil seeps are slow enough not to do any serious damage.....

The whole killer birds bit reminds me of that scene in Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade where Henry Jones brings down a Nazi fighter by scattering a flock of sea gulls into the path the fighter. That was funny.
