Of course, alot of what Saddam has done has been very reminiscient of Stalin's atrocities.
And it's not a coincidence. According to former high-ranking Iraqi officials Saddam closely associates himself with Stalin and has an enormous collection of books about the Soviet leader. When Saddam came to power and created his regime, he knowingly followed the example set by Stalin.

I can't believe nobody has posted this already:

Kirkuk FALLS!!!!!!!!!!!

And now watch as Turkey invades Iraq to clear Kirkuk of Kurds... Unless, the US forces can convice the Kurds to move on to Tikirt in the next few days.

Hopefully, this particular disaster-waiting-to-happen has been averted.

Fox News is reporting a suicide bomber attack on Marines in Baghdad. This is certainly no surprise to me, and if it was a surprise to military forces in Baghdad, someone's S2/G2 needs to be fired.

Fox and CBS radio are reporting that four US Marines were injured in the suicide bombing. No word yet on any deaths, except of course, the dude in the car.

Pittsburg Tribune reported it yesterday, but there was no other confirmation that I've seen. We'll see if this turns out to be true.

Just on a little note, (I'm sorry, but I don't have any quotes on this):

The reporter that was beaten up by the US military is back on Iraq! Yeah!

Ok, now back to your regular schedule...

This link pertains to the underground facility that had some radiocative material that made the geiger counters jump off thecharts just being in close proximity.

The link also mentions as I just heard that a mobile biochem lab was found.

YES! I just saw this on CNN, its confirmed.

The US Airmen from the downed Apache seem to have been found as well, as well as those others from the 507th.

7 POWS, 5 rom the 507th maintenance and the 2 airmen from the downed apache.

Found north of the town of Sammarra, from what im hearing it was a few junior Iraqi servicemen that were behind the releasing. Removing the POWS and then searching out the first group of Marines they came across.

Still 4 Americans missing, hopefully they'll be on their way soon too.
