Is Syria asking for trouble?
....or are Rumsfeld's accusations unfounded?
http://www.washingtonpost.com/ac2/wp-dy ... ge=printerRumsfeld's recent statement that singled out Syria along with Iran for assisting Iraq surprised not only the White House but also the CIA, which had not reported any major flow of military equipment or Islamic fighters from Syria to Iraq. It was seen by some as a shot not only at Syria but at CIA Director George J. Tenet.

Until I see some sort of proof I really do think they're unfounded. Not unbelievable but unproven at this point.jegs2 wrote:....or are Rumsfeld's accusations unfounded?
ROFL!
Quite a few people have been wondering when they were going to start on Syria

"Right now we can tell you a report was filed by the family of a 12 year old boy yesterday afternoon alleging Mr. Michael Jackson of criminal activity. A search warrant has been filed and that search is currently taking place. Mr. Jackson has not been charged with any crime. We cannot specifically address the content of the police report as it is confidential information at the present time, however, we can confirm that Mr. Jackson forced the boy to listen to the Howard Stern show and watch the movie Private Parts over and over again."
The bigger question is when will the force lighting be photographed.. comming out of his fingers hehe
"You say that it is your custom to burn widows. Very well. We also have a custom: when men burn a woman alive, we tie a rope around their necks and we hang them. Build your funeral pyre; beside it, my carpenters will build a gallows. You may follow your custom. And then we will follow ours."- General Sir Charles Napier

I really don't care either way. Whatever help Syria gave has obviousily been negilable. Now if it's shown that the Syrian government is hiding Saddam or other war criminals, then they're asking for trouble.jegs2 wrote:....or are Rumsfeld's accusations unfounded?
The most basic assumption about the world is that it does not contradict itself.
