I'm seconding the seconding of Phong's nomination. Well, whatever works.

Sports are not games.
They are games, but they're very different from computer, console, board, card, or roleplaying games in that they're nearly entirely physical. I tend to think they belong in OT, too (for one thing, it saves everyone the "[Insert activity] is a sport" debates). Computer or console sports games, though, would belong in here, I'd say..

Red: I'd agree.

Crayz: This thread is for those interested in becoming mods, not for campaining for them.

Dude, he's just letting you know. I wanted this to be a place for those interested to apply rather than a million threads saying make me a mod.

I'd offer to be a mod, but

1) I'm not actually on that often.

2) I absolutely loathe TGODing, and everything that resembles it or PRing without dice/game engine, with a seething, violent passion. :D Hell, for that reason alone, I'm keeping my AvP:WC total conversion thread in OT.

Why would you need to nominate yourself, you're already the mod of the forum.

I don't think offering your butt will sway Mike much. :P

Seriously, I am a supporter of Warrior Phong, which is not to say that Spanks or Pablo or the others would do badly either... but I am in an SD with Phong on SB and having seen him "in action" I think he'd be great at it.
Something about Libertarianism always bothered me. Then one day, I realized what it was:
Libertarian philosophy can be boiled down to the phrase, "Work Will Make You Free."

In Libertarianism, there is no Government, so the Bosses are free to exploit the Workers.
In Communism, there is no Government, so the Workers are free to exploit the Bosses.
So in Libertarianism, man exploits man, but in Communism, its the other way around!

No.

Campaigning is ineffective anyway, since it is decided by Mike and the mods.

All it serves for is mutual masturbation.

Oh, I was just thinking that they might like to read up on what the potential mods have to say about themselves.

That doesn't matter, either.

This isn't like a class election, Spyder. The Council of Elders will decide on the mods on their own, without us having to brag about ourselves amid the chatter of the masses.
