Yeah he is short, but as for voting for what he might wants.
Still he did contribute to the main page in that story of Leah Brahms.

Yeah, I know that, Storm; I'm not asking that a CT be granted Right Now, just gauging the opinions on a few contenders. (Besides, I'm only about 500-750 or so posts away, right? That'll take me, what, a day to fill in? lol)Stormbringer wrote:You're a bit short on the post count. Does anyone read the board FAQ?

I know. You've got a shot at one now. We'll see. By a strange coincidence, I just picked a rune up off the floor. It's the Wyrd rune. So, which one did you like best, Stormbringer?Stormbringer wrote:Raoul Duke, Jr. wrote:Yeah, I know that, Storm; I'm not asking that a CT be granted Right Now, just gauging the opinions on a few contenders. Sorry, his comment for "God Of Naughty Little Boys" sounded like he was implying Catholics as all being pedarests.Dalton wrote:What bashing?Spanky The Dolphin wrote:"Former VI"
PS: Let's try to keep the Catholic bashing to a minimum, okay?
Nevermind.

Incidentally, can you tell me what your CT means? I've been trying to figure it out for weeks.

In Neon Genesis Evangelion, NERV designates Eva pilots singularly as "Children".
Therefore, Rei Ayanami is the First Children, Asuka Langley Sohryu (subject of many of my avatars) is the Second Children, and Shinji Ikari is the Third Children. Etc...
I picked Third Children because I liked how it sounds the best.

Yeah, the requirments for post count changed. It used to be at 1500 posts you could petition for a custom title but right as I was making 1500 posts the requirements were upped so I have to keep going.
That's okay, we've got so many people now that at 1500 posts everyone and his dog would have CI and it would no longer be "kewl". I am a mod but of a small private forum (and a co-mod at that) so I think I'd need something a bit more substantial before petitioning.
How about "Steam 'Ho"? Sorry, Raoul, couldn't resist...

Something about Libertarianism always bothered me. Then one day, I realized what it was:
Libertarian philosophy can be boiled down to the phrase, "Work Will Make You Free."
In Libertarianism, there is no Government, so the Bosses are free to exploit the Workers.
In Communism, there is no Government, so the Workers are free to exploit the Bosses.
So in Libertarianism, man exploits man, but in Communism, its the other way around!
If all you want to do is have some harmless, mindless fun, go H3RE INST3ADZ0RZ!!

How about Jedi Council Member?Raoul Duke, Jr. wrote:I've seen other folks' "custom title" threads, and I have a vote to put to you for mine (should I be granted one): feel free to suggest your own as well. And have fun!
Choose this and it will solve your problem!
BTW, I'm afraid you need another 1000 posts.
My opinion on the custom title issue is that is should be merit-based, not necessarily post-count based. In the Army, most awards are merit-based, rather than longevity based (the Good Conduct Medal for enlisted men being an example of a longevity-based award).Shinova wrote:I think if you did something significant enough you could get a custom title now or soon enough, even under 1500 posts.

I agree, but in the Army we have a scale of expectations and the brass are looking for people with initiative. Here it is a bit more of a commune (egad, I said that!?) and one must blow one's own horn in order to get a particular recognition and campaign for oneself.jegs2 wrote:My opinion on the custom title issue is that is should be merit-based, not necessarily post-count based...
However, one must have done enough for the community and aquired enough personal Juche to merit getting a CI or other award; a guy that shows up and posts 2,000 "me too" posts would find himself with no support among the masses when he petitions.
