GED Test

Post by Einhander Sn0m4n »

I took it today.

I shall now describe it in two words or less.

STINK EASY!

I passes it, no doubt, but I'll find out in three weeks how bad I fragged it.... :)

That is WHY most employers do not accept it as a valid educational degree, nor do colleges.

Don't feel too bad... in a few years, employers and colleges might not accept some Oregon high school diplomas as valid educational degrees! By that time, cuts may have forced districts to shorten days to the point where they're no longer accredited schools.

...oh, how I wish I was joking.

Don't get discouraged Einey, once you get your certificate take a couple of useful courses at your local Community College, or do a part time semester at a local major university extension, once they see your serious about getting an education it makes it far easier to get in to the school you want to go to GED or not.

Of course it's easy, it's a GED. :P

I'm kidding. Hope you did as well as you think you did, Ein.

Actually, it's legally the same as a high school degree. My GED doesn't
say GED on it, it just says: "Maryland High School Diploma" on the front.

In Florida, it is the legal equviliant. A friend took it when he was a sophomore - he said that it was the easiest test he had ever taken bar none.

Not suprising; standardized public tests are always a joke.

Yes. And if you think the FCAT was easy, you should have seen the old HSCT.
