Oh, i like that plan! I could imagine drilling little holes in em and blowing em up with firecrackers when they get destroyed! muwahahhahaa...Slartibartfast wrote:Who needs micromachines if you can have... Army men! These are fun to destroy!
They should make a Redshirt and Stormtrooper version of the army men 'though. Cheap-ass disposable toys, fun for the whole family, and the dog!

But yeah, that would be a good idea, lol

I got a large collections in one box, man probly 6 or 7 years ago. Had a shitload, I think the E-D could seperate. Somehow they all disappeared in my lego bucket. I think a few years ago it was Just the Cube and the Feragi ship left, but I've since lost the cube. I really haven't a clue what happened to them.

Ahoy there guys...
Anyone who wants their MMs painted with shadows,
weathering, and better colors, lemme know.
For the right price, I could give you a real professional
job on your MM, Wars or Trek. I have samples of my
work online, somewhere, and lots of good references...
I wouldn't stiff ya

I guess I'm the only one here that had the Rebel pilot, Hoth Rebel soldier, Stormtrooper, and TIE Fighter pilot sets...MAN, those were great fun! I loved recreating Hoth and such with them! And I also had fun mixing them with the military sets of tan and green soldiers. I used to have the green soldiers fill in for the Rebel commandos at Endor. And I had an AT-AT and 2 AT-STs to have fun with at Endor too. That was great fun until I started losing them...I wonder whatever happened to them...hmm....I gotta check up on them some time.

I used to have a nearly complete collection of the old FASA gaming miniatures. Everything except for the Gorn and Orion ships. Now THOSE were kickass. Being lead-pewter alloy meant that, shall we say study, was limited, but unlike MM, they were all to scale. Many unique designs for Romulan, Klingon, and Federation ships.
Most of the Federation designs were based on the Connie or refit Connie saucer sections, and not nearly as bad as some of the kitbash Frankensteins we've seen on-screen.
Romulan ships had a close family resemblance to the Klingon Bird of Prey, which was a Rom design bought by the Klingons in the "universe" of the game.

Any of you guys hear about or have Micromachine Action Fleet Vehicles, They're like all 5 inches big or so and have like every vehicle imaginable. They came in box with two little 1.5 inch figures that had movable arms and legs. I got every single one of the original production. The At-At, xwing, awing, ywing, snowspeeder, Tie fighter, Darth's Tie, tie interceptor. These things are great and with some amazing detail, only problem I seen is the newer they got the gayer they got, adding little rocket lauchers and spring loaded crappery.
Ok here are a few pics:
They're all as detailed as this if not better. My fav is Shuttle Tydirium.

I have a LOT of doubles. Infact I have a double of most every ship. I have quite a few tripples and quads. I also have 6 borg cubes.Tsyroc wrote:Frank Hipper wrote:I found a junk shop that sold Micro-machines, bought 'em all....
And they're out of the box...
I think I have all the ST micromachines. I doubled up on some because I bought the 3 ship packages first but had to buy the large collector's boxes to get all the Enterprises. I think I have two or three normal Galaxy class Enterprises. The first one doesn't have saucer seperation but I know the later one(s) did. I like the "All Good Things" Enterpirse a lot. Voyager is also a good model with moveable nacels.
I was a bit disappointed that the last boxed set focused so much on all the nobody ships that Voyager had run into while I would have preferred a few more Dominon ships.
I also have the "complete" set [18] of Babylon 5 micro machines. Too bad that one never carried on past it's small number of sets.
However, these ships are my proudest.

Each of those is very hard to come buy without buying an entire collection for $100+.

The reason I got the second group is that I lost my first. I had the Executor, Farragut, Voodieh, and many others, all gone now.
AMT's little snapfit models for TPM are kinda cool, and about the same size as MM, the Sith Infiltrator and the MM TIEs are practically in scale to each other....

By the way, did you notice that the write up on the Farragut said that it
was Kirk's first ship when it is actually the ship from the end
of "Generations". I realize that Kirk's first ship was supposedly the
Farragut, just not a Nebula class starship. I suppose they were trying
to go for some kind of link there since Kirk died in that movie.

I have a walking AT-AT, a B-wing, and my brother has an X-wing. His friend however, has a HUGE collection of those babies. He also has a huge collection of LEGOs too(I gave Hadgrid an axe, and started massacrering the rest of the figurines. My brother's friend gave a battle droid water-skis, my brother had Darth Tyrannus fight Darth Vader, and he had Voldemort get whooped on by Palpatine. We also played with our micromachines. Good times...)
