Patrick Stewart speaks

I get the impression someone doesn't care if he's in another Star Trek movie or not.

You know, as good as an actor he is, I hate to see him dragged down with B&Bs material. If you watch a non-Trek movie he was in, you'll notice a huge difference.

I'm not saying he is a fantastic actor, I'm saying he's not bad when he's not bogged down in B&B shit..

Every actor gets a really bad part now and then, or a part ina generaly god-awful movie. Theres only so much one can do in such a spot.

Probably because at this point he doesn't. After all, he's an integral part of the X-men franchise now and it's a much better part material wish, so why should he? I mean the Trek films have been going steadily down hill and taking him with them. I think he'd be just as happy to be done with them.

I mean he's got a money maker and some films to stretch his acting chops. What more could he want?

I agree, why should he care? I bet you if he stopped making films right now, he could go settle down in the country somewhere and never work another day again in his life.

NO! He's going to play the predecessor of Palpatine! Imagine that! Picard is a Sith!

I swear I heard that before. Just a rumor of Patrick Stewart playing the part of a Sith Lord that praises Palatine for doing someone he failed to do.

Sith Lord Picard would rock, just because it would vex the Trektards to no end

Stewart could definitely pull off a Sith Lord role. He and Ian McDiarmid would work very well together, I think.

I'd pay good money to hear Stewart utter the phrase: "Commence Primary Ignition."

But it would sound a lot funny if uttered by Arnie Schwartzenegger.

"KUMMENZ PRYE-MAH-REE ICK-NISH-UN!"
"Hi there, would you like to have a cookie?"

"No, actually I would HATE to have a cookie, you vapid waste of inedible flesh!"

Oh yes! That's even better, Arnie it is. 8)

Imagine if that was over Naboo, and is how Padme gets it ... then the chase scene+confrontation: Terminator vs Anakin ... now we KNOW it is a melted metal pit
