I've lost my grandmother

I've lost my grandmother
Just yesterday, I drove my mom out to the airport so that she could fly to Reno for my Uncle's wedding. I remember that as I was giving her a hug and kiss goodbye, I had a bad feeling, like something was going to happen.
Something did happen. Early this morning, before the wedding, my gandmother (my mother's mom) died. It was apparently very sudden, she just fell out of her chair and her heart stopped.
My grandmother's had heart problems for years, so I'm not really surprised at the manner of her death. It's just that it was my Uncle's wedding day, and everyone knew she'd been looknig forward to it so much. It's warming up in Buffalo, so we were also looking forward to her and grandpa coming for their usual summer visit.
My house was very quiet today.

I'm sorry to hear that Iggy, I can imagine that you were very close to her.
My Grandmother died a few years ago, and my grandpa just last year, luckily for me though I wasn't too close to my g-parents. But I know how that feels.

I understand how you feel, Iggy.
My grandmother died four years ago last month. We'd lived only a couple hours away, and visited roughly once a month. She'd gone out jogging with a friend. They came back and talked a while, and then the friend walked home. She realized she'd forgotten her keys, and came back to pick them up. In the ten minutes she was gone, my grandmother had a heart attack and died. I got the phone call to tell me she had died while I was in band rehearsal for our trip to the Indoor Drumline World Championships. I don't think I was playing well that day, but my director understood.
If you need someone to talk to, I'm listening, man.

Why isn’t that ever an issue of politics? Because you don’t live in a democracy. You live in a plutocracy. Money rules.

LIFE SUCKS. End of story. I myself just found out that a friend of mine that was in this play that I did (the same one I did last night + night before) is in Iraq. [sighs] I kind of know what you're going through.
