So I have a few comments to make

1st the borg...
Take over one SW ship, and now the borg kick there sorry ass's after dapting to turbolasers...
warp drive is SO much better than hyperdrive, you can fly along a ships hull at warp dropping photon trops on them...
Good bye Thrawn...
And the romulans would just inflitrate there goverment, and take them over, or sign a sneeky deal.
And photon trops move at warp, so they can be fired from far away, and blast of thoses defletor towers, and that nice shny bridge viewport.
All they need a a tatical man like me...
Adn the empire loses, sadly I love the empire, and would help it kick the feds ass anyday..
So I wonder who wins,

Point 1: A Borg cube could not weaken an ISD enough to assimilate it. Even if it manages to batter down its shields and beam some drones aboard, stormtroopers, of which an ISD carries 9,700, could easily kill drones.
Also, the Borg can't adapt to raw power. They didn't adapt to large quantities of Photon torpedos, and they wouldn't be able to adapt to a turbolaser blast. If they can even survive one, it would be the most they could do, and more than any knowledgable person would expect from them.

Point 2: As for warp drive, it gives you a tactical advantage, but what makes you think the Imps are going to try hitting a warping feddie ship? Photon torpedos and phaser s are too weak to hurt a corvette, let alone an ISD. And Hyperdrive's greater speed means an Imperial ship with knowledge of Earth's location can turn the Federation's captial and military headquarters into a ball of glass, while Starfleet tries vainly to pursue them. BTW, the bridge tower isn't necessarry for control. The ISD has secondary control centers.

Finally, industrial capacity. The Empire built 60% of the DS2 in 6 months. That's 60% of a 900km battlestation. It would take the Federation millenia to even attempt building something like that.

Oh, and
POKE![/i]

Well, trek has a million advantages over wars. Just not on these forums, where Star Wars fans can say "photon torpedoes look bad," providing no science to back their theories, and instead HoSing any questions about how Wars technology works, and then Star Trek fans cannot say "Lasers look shitty" and provide scientific evidence and still be called "trolls" and then on top of it all, Trek fans MUST provide sources for these claims where Wars fans blatantly state that Trek would lose. So, my statement is... WHY DOES THIS WEB PAGE EXIST IF YOU "KNOW" STAR WARS WOULD WIN?

Notice how the dickless troll makes no effort to address any of the actual arguments raised on this site or the board, and instead simply hurls generalizations and character attacks.

Because not everyone knows that. It makes for a good information source. Furthermore it can be very entertaining to read.

Waaahhhh, you're all biased!

If things are as you say, then you should have no problem providing evidence. Put up or fuck off.

I did provide evidence on quantum torpedoes, but oh, my post was countermanded by the (illegal) "They look bad" omnipotent incredible and undefiable evidence. I have sources, and proof.

Bullshit; there is no source, canon or official, which gives any kind of quantum torpedo the firepower necessary to compete with SW, where one-man patrol craft like Slave-1 carry 12 gigaton warheads.

The really sad thing is, even if we accepted the 64 megaton torps and 128 megaton Quantum Torpedos AND that Federation ships are magically immune to lasers and turbolasers, the Federation STILL couldn't defeat the Empire or even slow it down noticeably, all that would mean is that the Empire had to use Assault Gunboats and TIE Bombers for missile strikes instead of cap ship lasers. In other words, instead of a few LTL blasts, it'd require what, a single concussion missile volley from a flight of Assault Gunboats?

What you did is claim that a volumetric measurement of space contained a huge amount of energy, thus, despite the fact that the series shows a far lower yield, the Quantum torpedoes must also have that amount of energy due to the name. You later came back claiming that your measurement of volume for energy was correct, and supporting your self with a quote that did not support you at all and you only thought it did because you didn't understand it.

You have never provided anything about turbolasers, you have never posted anything grounded in trek. THAT is why you are HOSed and mocked.

Anyway, they do have one thing going for them, a complete disregard for continuity, which can be turned to their advantage.
