.Ok, here's my four band that I like, and then I'll list four bands that I liked alot at one point but have since fallen out of favor.

Bands that I Like

AC DC - I was unfortunate enough to be sent on a tour of Israel with a christian group of travellers not too long ago. While they were belting out hymn after hymn whenever they saw the sight of holy ground, I cranked up "Highway to Hell" on my headphones.

Led Zeppelin - Jimmy Page is the shit. Alot of guitarists that are now mainstream can't even hold Page's jock strap when it comes to actual talent.

Jimi Hendrix - The most gifted and talented guitarist of all time. Flat out amazing stuff, and his unique sound completely changed rock and roll.

Savoy Brown - Blues band from england that got more popularity here in the US than in england. Kim Simmons has a great touch with the blues and can improvise incredibly well. Besides, you gotta like a band that boogies for a solid half hour and then decides to put it on one of their albums. You just don't see that kind of thing done anymore.

Band that I've liked, but have since fallen out of favor

Guns N' Roses - Seriously folks, outside of "appetite for destruction" this band did next to nothing with their talent except become a bunch of dickheads. Axl Rose is insane and obnoxious, and can't sing anymore.

Metallica - They really haven't done anything except rest on their laurels for the past ten years. The whole anti-napster stand pissed me off, and I think S&M is way overrated as an album. The orchestration is weak, and mostly provides filler background music for the band. An interesting concept to try, but still I think it met with hit and miss success.

Aerosmith - God I hate Aerosmith now. Which is a shame, since I used to really, really like them. First it was the super bowl appearence with NSYNC. Then it was their latest album, which sounded exactly like their previous albums, except worse. Then I made the mistake of sitting through an MTV "tribute to Aerosmith" special, which featured a bunch of acts I've never heard of doing bad covers of aerosmith songs, all the while with Aerosmith looking on with stupid grins on their faces. Absolutely pathetic.

Linkin Park - I really don't know why I put them here, since I liked their first album alot. I guess it's because whenever it comes on the radio now, or comes on at a party, I get this irritable feeling run up my spine and I am filled with a desire to smash my radio. I bought their first album, and really only listened to it for about two weeks. I can't stand it now. God, I hate it when I do shit like that.

I'm not too fond of Linkin Park either, but do you have to dislike them that intensely??

Their songs just annoy me right now. I don't know why. I guess I just got sick of them. Hell, if they went away for two or three years I'd probably come back to listening to them again, but I just hear them constantly, and it irritates me.

Did you see him at the Video Music Awards? His voice is NOTHING compared to what it was, he's like a shell of his former self.

I liked Linkin Parks Hybrid Theory. Mostly i liked it because the lyrics discribed paranoia and depression suffered as a result of bad relationships. I can relate to that. Also, at the time, it was something new. Meteora isn't as good, all nuclear guitars and no originality. The second album they brought out i refuse to acknowledge. It's a musical equivilant to Highlander 2.
