1. i'm so sick of star wars. its just gay. can't george lucas go beyond the basic good vs. evil!?

2. The new battlestar galactica series. nuff said

3. Most scifi fans can't get a. a tan and b. laid

4. scifi was created by the french tosser Jean Luc Costeau and the Turkish bastard Fez Harraz

5. Old Skool Scifi from the fifties kicks new sci fi's ass... i love "i turned into a martian" and "plan 9" and "hybrid moments"

6. i'm a fucking liar.

Actually if you go by the first French sci-fi authors, there are Savinien de Cyrano de Bergerac ( 16th century IIRC, told stories about a journey to the moon using baloons :D ), Voltaire ( with his Micromégas, and other stories about the Solar and Lunar Empires :P ), and Jules Vernes ( De la Terre à la Lune, Vingt mille lieues sous les Mers, 8) ... )...

If you REALLY wanna go far in the past, search for an Ancient Greek author whose name I can't remember...
