Why do you write your posts so they look like poems?

And I would quit using fanfics as your data sources if I were you.

I never realsied my posts look like poems, I guess its a habit I've got into.
I don't use fan-fics a reasorces, I know what I know about the various places and try to turn that into plans. Of cource It could be I'd be better of useing fan-fics than that. Or I could even start on useing my own fan-fic as proof... I think not. I'll see if I can find that fic, and put it in the fic forum for people to laugh at.

I suppose Id be more understanding if you'd be more coherent with your posts. Granted typos are criminal behavior but in your case where you are trying to make a point you've got to be clearer.

Thinking back over it, I'm not sure if I even had a point.
I'll work on the coherent thing.

I think that Trek does have the advantage in the sublight speed and manuverability of their capital ships.

ISD's can accelerate faster than a GCS. Their maneuverability is lower, but with more than 10 times the volume, that's not surprising. SW fighters are much more maneuverable than a Trek capship, so they fall in-between. And since SW fighters can actually carry more firepower (see AOTC), this isn't much of an advantage.

Is English a second language for you, Admiral? It would explain the odd spellings and syntax.

No, I wish I had that excuse,
Its a conbination of age 16, and very poor spelling and Grammar, (Bottom set of english). I can write wonderful storys, but they'll be full or errors. You should see how bad it used to be.
The repulsar thing, SW my have repulsar lifts, but in ST the have huge captial ship sets, that can push ships around. In SW they arn't used on that kind of scale.
And waht about shild generators, ISD have them clearly visable, is that a design flaw, or do they need to be there, we don't see schild towers, on ST ships.

Star Trek "repulsor" beams are simply tractor beams working in reverse. The Empire has tractor beams and has demonstrated the ability to generate repulsion, so I don't see any reason think ST has any advantage here.

You are operating from a misconception based on a SW computer game. The domes on the ISD superstructure are not shield generators; they're sensor domes.

Ahh.
In that case I have no more to add in favor of the feds in conbat.
What about Hulls? Is there anyway the feds have a advatage in what they use to build?

Given that Federation/Klingon/Romulan weapons, which are orders of magnitude weaker than Star Wars weapons, can damage Federation/Klingon/Romulan hulls...what do you think?

Obviously, if the Federation-grade ship hulls were heavily armored enough to give Imperial weapons a challenge then they'd be nearly impervious to weapons such as those used by the Klingons and Romulans. Star Wars starfighter-grade energy weapons are roughly on par with Star Trek capital ship phasers and disruptors as far as energy output per bolt. Ignoring the fact that a B-Wing, E-Wing, or X-Wing can put 3 or 4 bolts on target per volley vs Star Trek's 1 or 2 phaser or disruptor beams, and the starfighters weapons have a faster cycling time as well. That's STARFIGHTER grade weapons. Much less the megaton and gigaton range monsters on Star Wars capital ships.

To the best of my knowledge an X-Wing's torpedo loadout would be sufficient to vaporize a Sovereign-Class starship. Three squadrons of shielded starfighters--call it 2 squadrons of E-Wings and 1 of B-Wings--could have defeated the fleet at Wolf 359, including the Borg cube, from the numbers I've seen.

On top of the fact that Federation hulls are far weaker than their Imperial counterparts, it takes years to build a single Federation GCS but only a few months to build an Imperial Imperator-Class Star Destroyer or similar vessel that is vastly larger and better equipped.

The Federation may have prettier ships, better holograms, and slightly better first aid technology, but aside from those things the Empire has every advantage possible.

Under the Palpatine Empire? Not at all.

Live in an Imperial system that was controlled by a somewhat more "benevolent dictator"? Possibly wouldn't bother me as much as the nonentity that seems to be the Federation government.

Regardless, I'd say that the Empire's form of government gives it a huge advantage over the Federation because as soon as the Empire starts grabbing Federation worlds all those various Federation delegates are going to start having screaming fits and demanding that Starfleet Do Something About The Empire, or that the Federation surrender to the Empire or at least "negotiate", in a fashion similar to what the New Republic government did when it was invaded by the Yuuzhan Vong.

Note that I personally prefer the New Republic or GFFA government over the Palpatine Empire.

The Fed government is retarded. And that's not an insult, I mean they fool themselves into thinking that they've got this "moneyless society" it means everything is free and provided for everyone with unlimited resources and crap.

About the towers on the star destroyers, are they really sensore pods?
Because in episode 6, the X-wings seemed awful keen on blasting them, and what aout 'Captain we've lost or bridge defector shild' Or was that a conencidence?

In Episode 6 we see a single shot with an A-Wing (I think) sending a couple of blasts at a tower. This shot last something like 3 seconds, and then its reported that the shields are down. So they're not "keen" on blasting them.
