The problem is that you get kids saying:

"Well at least my dad built me a mech."

"Damn."

:D

And then you get the fathers having to tell their kids no when they want one.

I wonder if that tank the other guy's father built his son could take on that mech. :D

You do know that Gundam mobile suits are about 60 feet tall, right? That gear is less then 20 feet standing at full height.

If we assume a 8' garage, this give a 17'11" mech. Also, the feet are sunk three feet in the ground, so whatever height might be determined by the top photograph is three feet smaller than the total construction.

Thats pretty cool. I wonder where it is? I know a lot of cities in CA have banned tree/play houses because of insurance or lawsuits.

WTF?

Damn frivilous laws that keep kids from being kids. Dangit if I didn't fall out of my tree house and bust my ass a couple times, but, it taught me a few things, like not to try to jump down the ladder....

Just shows the soccer mom overprotectiveness mindset that is infecting the country. Dang, I rode a bycycle when I was a kid *gasp* without a HELMET!

As I said, getting my butt busted a few times taught me really quick not to do stupid things.
