Star Tours vs. Star Trek the Experience

Post by Sidious »

The recent thread about Star Tours has me wondering...

Of those that have been to both, which did you like better?

Zipping through a revised battle of Endor in Star Tours?

Or standing on the bridge of the Enterprise-D and later evading Klingon Bird of Prey's in ST:TE?

Personally I think both are enjoyable. I havent been on Star Tours in 10 years but I still remember it well. Star Trek TE had some impressive visuals of the Enterprise D in battle and both gave a real sense of speed.

Still gotta go with Star Tours though, cant wait to go on it again sometime.

Having not been to Star Tours for close to 10 years, I don't know how it has changed in that time, and having been to ST TE only last year, it is an easy choice. Star Tours.

Both are actually cool, but I enjoyed Tours more.

But as far as board culture in general, I do think that young male overaggression is a contributing factor to the general atmosphere of hostility. It's not SOS and the Mess throwing hand grenades all over the forum- Red

Did ST:TE close down?

I've heard varying stories about this.

That we dying younger hiding from the police man over there
Just for breathing in the air they wanna leave me in the chair
Electric shocking body rocking beat streeting me to death"

Not as of last July. Also, someone around here just went a couple months ago. So unless it happened really recently, no it didn't shut down.
