Well, the longer it takes, the more amazing the feeling when it works, I would say.

They were a ball bearing unit and a synchronizer hub, actually.DPDarkPrimus wrote:I wonder... if they had to say "Quiet on the set!", or that, once the cogs started rolling, everyone became silent and watched.
Howedar is no longer here. Need to talk to him? Talk to Pick.

by take 400... my vision would blur red as i mindlessly smashed the set and mudered the other members of my crew... " DAMN IT DAMN IT! CANT ANYBODY DO ANYTHING RIGHT! ARRRRRRRRGHHHH "Darth Garden Gnome wrote:606 takes? That would be MIND NUMBINGLY frustrating. By the time we got it down, I'd probably be sitting in a puddle of my own drool staring off into space for all eternity.

Noticed the same thing.Faram wrote:Amazing.
But the carwheels look suspect, after the third hits the forth, the third wheel stops and then countnues uppwards on the ramp.
If it wasn't CGI, then they have an anti-gravity device, as the tires accelerate going UP the ramp, only by being bumped.
Plus, the speakers are moving a bit much to be completely non-CGI.
the tires are completely real: try it next time you have a can or something and some weight: glue the weight to one part of the can, and place that side up, then tip it towards and incline and watch as it rolls up. It works, because the part thats moving up is the top-most part of the tire, not the mass of the tire, which is moving down.
and the speakers were ramped up ALOT. besides, they took the thing apart and probably used special speakers meant to look cool as well as make lots of noise (there was 1 cheat they did, and that could be it, since i dont think those speakers come in the car)

Wow...that's one of the most impressive commercials I've ever seen.
