DIE! DIE! DIE! DIE!
I present some slightly altered lyrics from the Metallica goodness that is "A Creeping Death"
Die! By my hand
I creep across the land
Killing Durran Korr

In which case I suggest listening to their instrumentals, no words in them so you won't have to hear Hetfield's voice.Durran Korr wrote:Lame lyrics and James Hetfield's voice blows. What else can I say?

I have to choose ONE?! GRR! I'm eclectic. I'll listen to almost anything, though I have a penchant for Rock, Alternative and Orchestral Scores...But I'll listen to almost anything...accept mainstream Pop and I have a mild distain for Love songs.

Hmmmm, I disagree. I can't think of any voice sexier than James Hetfield's in the song "Low Man's Lyric......" Mmmmm, gritty and repentant...delicious.
So low the sky is all I see
All I want from you is forgive me
So you bring this poor dog in from the rain
Though he just wants right back out again
I cry to the alleyway
Confess all to the rain
But I lie, lie straight to the mirror
The one I've broken to match my face
The trash fire is warm
But nowhere safe from the storm
I can't bear to see
What I've let me be
So wicked and worn
So as I write to you
Of what is done and to do
Maybe you'll understand
And won't cry for this man
'Cause low man is due
Please forgive me
Please forgive me
Le sigh...... Very yummy.

Fuck, where's techno on the poll?!
I guess out of those I'd have to choose classical, but techno owns all of those.
Spanky's got the right idea, OCR all the way. I have every single OC remix dled.

Hip-hop is usually pretty good, and some rap is good. Hell of a lot better than country, at least. (except Johnny Cash, who roxorz)

For me, it's a tie between movie soundtracks and metal. And by metal, I mean underground metal - not the mainstream stuff, which I consider to be quite bland. I'm talking about bands which sign to labels such as Hammerheart, Nuclear Blast, Century Media and Cacophonous!
I'm talking about bands such as Bal-Sagoth, Finntroll, Dissection, Bathory, Bolt Thrower and Limbonic Art!
But I also really like movie soundtracks - particularly the works of Basil Poledouris. I don't have any other favoured composers, although my favourite soundtracks are "The Good The Bad And The Ugly," "Conan the Barbarian," "Sleepy Hollow," all the Star Wars soundtracks and to some extent "Ivan the Terrible." (you can't have enough liturgical music in a movie!)

Do you like new metallica as well?Hmmmm, I disagree. I can't think of any voice sexier than James Hetfield's in the song "Low Man's Lyric......" Mmmmm, gritty and repentant...delicious.

No, not really. Their pettiness over the whole Napster ordeal made me annoyed at them, and I didn't go out of my way to hear their new music. What I did end up hearing I didn't like as much as their previous albums. *shrugs*
Doesn't matter too much, since I still have my Metallica concert-mosh pit story.

Then isn't it ironic that you never included an option for 'A bit of Everything' or just plain Eclectic.Nathan F wrote:What is your favorite music genre?
I personally enjoy a little bit of everything, from classical orchestra to hard rock to honky tonk country.
