The X-wing's deflector shield generator is in the aft section of the vessel. And what the FUCK are you smoking? I direct you to ST2 and ST6. Both times, the Enterprise suffered scoring and damage, even though the shields are still up. Also, any DS9 battle involving the Jem'hadar fighter runs. They punch through and destroy Fed and Klingon ships, even though the shields are still up.

Perhaps I should rephrase: shields must be under some kind of strain and fluctuating before a fighter can drop in. The CORRUPTER was being pummeled by the Rogues, their Gand and Twi'lek allies, plus nearby freighters, and the VALIENT. All that firepower managed to let ONE X-wing (Wedge) slip under the remianing shields and hit the bridge.

What the fuck are you talking about? It's quite easy to bypass Star Trek sheilds due to most of them being frequency based, just match frequencies and pass through.

As for Star Wars sheilds they have two types, (both of which are employed on almost all ships) ray sheilding which blocks energy and particle sheilds which block matter. Please tell me how the fuck a ship is going to pass through a MATTER blocking sheild.

I assume you mean interdictors. Which is still false, as a strong enough gravitational field can prevent a stable warp field from forming.
