d_shawn.mid from Doom 2. IIRC, it played on the second to last level, among others.

HELL YEAH! I like Sonic 2's the best. Especially this "Boss the Boss" one I found. Good stuff.IG-88E wrote:Robotnik's themes from the Sonic series.
And I'd say anything from WarCraft II and StarCraft is excellent as well. Especially the Human Defeat Theme (WCII) and the music you get on the Jungle Maps (SC).

I got a hold of a live full version of it a loooong time ago on Napster. You can probably find it on a P2P somewhere, or, if you have a good connection, I could send it to you over AIM sometime.RogueIce wrote:Where can one get their hands on that?DPDarkPrimus wrote:SHIT!. Damn...you wouldn't know any handy FTP sites, or a friendly webmaster on this board, who'd let you put up there for a bit so I can try to download it and pray my comp doesn't do anything funky in the meantime, would you?DPDarkPrimus wrote:Erm... no... the song is 22-some minutes long... I DLed it when I had a 56k, and it took me the better part of a day... Sorry.

The Warcraft II Bonus Track
And the best game Theme is IMHO Wacraft 2 :p
Pretty much all the music from Blizzard games was great, but none is as easy to remember as the Warcraft II Orc & Human battle themes.

My number one game tune is Yehat theme from Star Control 2.
The others are:
- Starbase Commander theme from Star Control 2
- Shipyard theme from Star Control 2
- Outfit Starship theme from Star Control 2
- Mycon theme from Star Control 2
- Space combat theme (you know, the one from supermeele) from Star Control 2
- every other song I haven't mentioned yet from Star Control 2
- Bigfoot from Command &Conquer: Red Alert (yeah, I know most people prefer Hell March but screw it. Big Foot rocks!)
- Crush from Command &Conquer: Red Alert, especially with my JBL sub
- Act on Instinct from Command & Conquer
- C&C Thang from Command & Conquer
- Just Do It from Command & Conquer
- Eyes on Me (sung by Faye Wong) from Final Fantasy VIII
- Dodge Viper theme from Need for Speed (the original)
- Ferrari 512TR theme from Need for Speed (the original)
- Stones from Ultima series (especially in Ultima 7, with better MIDI tunes)
- Gargoyle theme from Ultima 6 series
- Extended Imperial March from TIE Fighter
- Hero's theme (the opening song) from Quest for Glory series
- Widow theme from Super Fighter
- Vega theme from Street Fighter series
- Ken theme from Street Fighter series
- Main theme from Mig 29 (it's a relatively unknown game from DoMark in early 90s. Not really a great game, but the music's quite cool. In fact, the only thing impress me about the game is the music).
- Main theme from X-Com: UFO Defense
- Combat theme from Master of Magic
- Main theme from Crusader: No Regret (not really main theme, but it's the music that played over and over during early levels and 'Options' menu)
