There is no way the enterprise could take down a ISD,
But I'm not sure about the ramming, if you get warp 9,9 from something like a cube, that has to be a LOT of engry...
Perhpas 2000, enterprises, take the Chimrua, now that I would like to see.

If warp ramming were anywhere near as effective a tactic you think it is, how come its never used on the show? And even if warp ramming were as effective as you would like it to be, if the Feds or the Borg won't warp ram their current enemies, they won't ram the imperials either.

Not with those mass-lightening fields. And cubes are mostly empty space anyway.

Oh well, I think the ramming tatic isn't used, because the borg never seem to think they are going to lose, and the fed's just don't like that sort of thing...
Aslo it would mess up the plot if when the borg came to earth, at wolf 359 one fed ship rammed cube...

Borg cube/Enterprise-Any/ST ships doing the 'Warp Ram' on ISDs is not practical, not only because ST ships are weaker, but also because the ISDs will jam the ST ships, making the ST ships do a blind run; the ISDs can also sense the ST ships beforehand and prepare, and if the ST ships are THAT desperate to ram it is likely that they've already had their asses BASHED so hard that one shot would take them out easily.

Unless the ST ships had read this webpage, and realised that ramming was the only way they were going to do ANY damage...

Please preform a calc for a FTL collision. No, really, I want to see it and see how warp ramming would do anything.

My calculation, isn't that good.

So how come they never tried warp ramming against S8427 where they KNEW they were not just losing but getting their borg asses handed to them? A cube did collide with one bioship, but the relative speeds of the two ships were NOT FTL.
and the fed's just don't like that sort of thing...
I repeat: if they won't do it against their current enemies (even when they are in dire straights) they won't do it against the Empire either.

Aslo it would mess up the plot if when the borg came to earth, at wolf 359 one fed ship rammed cube...
You're kidding right? You take an event which never happened and pretend to know that it would "mess up the plot" clearly by assuming that a Fed ship ramming the cube would have caused significant damage to the cube. You still have not provided one shred of evidence that this tactic is even possible.

I just stated a bunch of reasons WHY THE TATIC isn't used...
hello? Do you get that, I'm argueing on your side...
Why its never used, and by who, I mean if you want to argue thats fine, and I to go faster than light in ST you have tom go to warp, the borg were clearly not in warp.
I have no idea what the point of you posting that was.

And your reason was totally inapplicable against S8472 when the borg KNEW they were getting ass raped.

If they had Borg Space Monkeys, they could try to surround the ship with that lattice of theirs (by crashing and basically becoming ISD packing material), they could send all the Borg monkeys with wrenches (they would be monkey-wrenches) and try to disassemble the ISD as fast as they could while they're distracted...

No, he's arguing that it isn't used because it WOULDN'T WORK. You're arguing AGAINST him, saying that it isn't used because they're being nice to the Feds, or because they never lose (which is a lie).

In other words, you're trying to argue that it COULD work but for some reason they're holding back, which is bullshit in these debates.
