Who Is/Are Your Favorite Poster(s)?
So? Who is it? By this I mean whose posts do you most look forward to and find most entertaining and why? If you feel like it, you can also differentiate by types of subjects, since the people who post extensive comments in the Politics section might (like myself) not be very active participants in all the sex-related threads or the PSW, PST and VS forums.

My favorites:
Politics: Patrick Degan, Darth Wong, Stuart Mackey, Vympel, for insightful and entertaining on-topic posts that quite often also result in the the crushing defeat of the opposition.
Duchess of Zeon for being a good sounding board for the (from my pov anyway) more ludicrous positions and providing a debate opponent. A good bonus for her is not holding a grudge and the capability to hold a reasonable conversation even if we violently disagree on quite many things.
Science-related stuff: Darth Wong, Durandal, Patrick Degan, Data_Link (where'd he vanish to?) for the same reasons as above.
Off-Topic stuff:
Rob Wilson (for being a great and funny guy, he usually always posts something that is either directly relevant to the discussion at hand or makes me split my sides laughing or both)
Zaia (she's such a great friend and her posts are often funny)
Einy (for being the hilariously crazy person he is, he also makes me laugh a lot, though for some reason I always get the mental image of a ping-pong ball caroming wildly around... Maybe it's all the bright colors and bubbling enthusiasm?)
Sex related things:
Darth Wong (Well, duh, he's Darth Wong, what more needs be said? Or can be said, for that matter?)

Why is it so goddamned hard to get little assholes like you to admit it when you fuck up? Is it pride? What gives you the right to have any pride?

I just can't go past Colonel Olrik, his posts are insightful, witty and on the whole brilliant.

Well, that was unexpected. [EDIT: Meaning that he actually went off in a huff after humiliating himself like that] I was off the boards during Christmas, so that's why I missed that thread. On deeper reflection, given his past, the topic itself was something that he never should have gone near, that explosion was quite predictable. Shame really, but I feel no sympathy for him, given his behavior.

Well, I've said before that you're also one of the people whose posts I tend to look forward to as well.

Favourite poster?
Well I'd have to go with one of the right wing crazies. Falk, Shep or the Duchess. *edit* Please note that this is a very short list from a very long line of contenders, don't think I've forgotten about the rest of you. */edit*
Favourite read?
Can't go past Arminius. Place both feet in mouth insert head up arse and kick.

1) Darth Wong. It's not about being in charge. Mike has the elusive ability to command respect through TEXT, with zero emotive background or images. He could probably start a thread about which type of lube is best, and even if you had taken a vow of lifetime celibacy you would soon find yourself nodding like a car-ledge bobblehead in agreement with his opinion.
2) Einhander: Now, here's a guy who went on a sugar rush sometime back in 1989 and hasn't come off it yet. I can relate to almost zero of his opinions or comment - we are very opposite people - but he has a "I want to hear what he'll say NEXT" presence to him.
3) Raoul Duke Jr.: The master of imagery. It doesn't matter what he writes about; he can make you feel happy, sad, angry, or whatever he wants. I figure he could bullshit a sob story about Hitler so full of heartstring tugs that it would make you want to give the evil dead bastard a hug.

Note: I'm semi-retired from the board, so if you need something, please be patient.

Oh geez, a popularity contest! Almost everyone on the board is pretty cool.as far as politics, i do look forward to posts from Vympel and Ando, although i rarely agree with them, they do bring up good points. Sometimes ando crosses the line, which isn't really a bad thing. I like Wong's posts in response to trolls. hehehe.... Montcalm seems like an all around nice guy, so does Eienhander.

Ditto. Well, except I just give myself naughty thoughts about them.aerius wrote:The chicks of course, they're so cute and cuddly and give me such naughty thoughts.
But to be serrious, I can't really come up with a list of members' I like. Except for a handfull that spew inane drivel or just spam, I like most in general, as a lot of people each have a few notably funny or insightful posts.
So I'll just stick to my vote for ME!

Well, in that case, I guess I don't have to bother....
