Why should food chickens be treated humanely? I would think treating them "humanely" would include, oh, I don't know, not killing and eating them?

Looks like their main complaint is at how the chickens being kept in cages. Sounds pretty bad form that point of view.

That's their entire point. However, their arguments and methods are so bizarre that the majority of vegetarians probably consider the PETA to be an embarrasment to their cause.

Who cares? They're food. I've seen both Blood of Beasts and Strike and I still have no problem eating meat. I don't really give much of a shit how animals raised for food are treated as long as the meat is kept sanitary.

What should we do? Give them each an few acres each to roam? And simply talking them into giving up their lives for our chicken wings?

I don't think there's anything that would be ethical by PETA's standards so at some point you really do have to wonder what's the fucking point.

PETA members probably at think they're doing the right thing. Which makes it all the more satisfying when you mock them.

It's far more fun to mock someone who's being dumb with nobility of purpose than to mock someone who's being dumb to tread the party line.

Why don't they ever do this to restaurants in my area? I want to go ridicule and taunt them. Then go shoot a squirrel or rat or something in front of them....

PETA thinks that all cattle that are kept in a barn or fenced pasture are mistreated. They think that a pig farm that gives a pig a 6ftx6ft feeding pen which hogs are kept in before they are killed is just incredibly inhumane and cruel. Yeah, keeping the hog away from predators with an unlimited supply of food is incredibly cruel....

Frankly, I don't care WHAT they think. They make me mad, but only because I've suffered countless idiots, protesters, and otherwise dedicating themselves to a lifetime of IRRITATING OTHERS.
