You could point out that starcraft is just a game and HEAVILY bases its tech on other sci-fi series. Aliens mostly. The ion cannon decal is leeched straight from ESB! Its the same cannon made smaller!

Listen to the drop ship - "in the pipe, 5x5" straight from aliens. They have no standing because SC is made as a private joke to sci-fi fans, and not as it's own stand alone series to be compared against the sci-fi it stole from!

When i play it i think, "how cool is it that i play a game with every sci-fi mixed into one," rather than, "oh how superior is this holy empire blizzard created."

the only way to solve this is a battle.net game. I will kick their ass.
