I already replied to this guy, but I wanted to post a little entertainment for y'all.

The next is the ion cannon shot that took out the enterprise in one shot. The ship is protected against ions or every time an ion storm came up the ship would be in allot of trouble. And then there is Mr. Data he is as well protected against Ion surges for the same reason. the next is dear Mr. odo He would not die you idiot they found him floating in space he does not breath you idiot he is a silicon based life form. So over all you have a very good fair tale but that’s all it is. I suggest to you that you research your topics more before you write some thing down. Just so you don't sound so stupid in your statements. So with that being what it is please take this constructive criticism and learn form your mistakes.

And the bad part is I am a die hard fan of star wars And I now more about star trek then you do. So if you are going to write again I suggest you reserch alittle more.

1. Holograph versus hologram? Did you take a page out of The Name Game tactic?
2. The reason why Federation "holograms" have substance is....replicators.
They don't simulate the object, they MAKE the object. This is a waste of power
when you're only going to use it for communications (ESB). Furthermore, I
refer you to the Holographic Zoo in Dark Apprentice.

Wrong! Ray shields aren't good against missles. The fact that the difference had to be stated proves some type of shield blocks physical objects (which is proved when fighters crash into ships in ROTJ).

Darkstar was an interesting exception. I often stared in amazement at what he wrote here while being assailed as if by angry hornets. First, he can make up things that do not exist on film; i.e., the number of Star Destroyers (or "des-tor-yers") that could "atomize" a planet, when in the filmed canon Han only said, "It'd take a thousand ships, with more firepower than I've ever seen to..."

Second, he can't even get the fucking reference right! It has been YEARS since ANH, and even I, he of funky memory, can remember the quote pretty faithfully.

I'd also like to know how a GCS could go from struggling to destroy a ~5 km wide asteroid to a planet-sized target. Maybe that asteroid was made of ultra-quantum-triaxlating-flux-neutronium alloys?

Wrong. I can tell you right now, I've seen almost every Star Trek episode ever aired. I've paid close attention to all technical aspects and I think my analysis is pretty fricking good.

I can say with all certainty NO Federation ship has EVER entered an ion storm onscreen. So is it protected? We dunno, nor do we know shit about "ion storm's" intensity.
