Okay, I'm starting to get more and more with the Inuyasha cartoon. What I don't get is the ending. Were there credits are rolling. It looks bad ass, but isn't that dude Inuyasha's brother? Didn't Inuyasha kill that bastard?

Nope, good old Sesshomaru's still around and kicking. Although I too am not quite certain what the ending means. Perhaps Sesshomaru finding the fang that would become Tensaiga :?:

OPs and EDs don't always follow the continuity of the series.

I know they don't always follow, but it seems like it means something to the series. That dawned on me that the dragon might be thier father. So that would make sense the fang is tatsyguwagi, you know, the god damned sword.

I don't think so, their father is that giant corpse at the very beginning of the ending. But it might be his fang.

Or like Spanky said, it could mean nothing, which is probably likely.

I actually have a decent theory on it all, but it involves mass spoilers, so I won't post.

I'll just say that we will be seeing alot of Sesshoumaru.

How many episodes have they shown on CN so far? I have seen up to 99 of the fansubbed originals. They currently have 105 episodes fansubbed so far.

Yea, got as far as the Birds Of Paradise before the dubbing stopped. I hope they have more.

I dunno, I love the dubbing they have from The Ocean Group. Something about a medieval, oriental demon using the phrase 'Hella NASTY!' is funny to me.

I'm just going to wait until I have the money for the full DVD set.

Sub or Dub.

Um no, Sesshoumaru was not killed by Inuyasha. He's one the most powerful characters in the series, and is a recurring character.

The series end is so far not insite yet. It will keep going till they stop making the manga and I don't believe the end for that is in site.

If I was to make an estimate, I would say it will AT LEAST have 130 episodes. But it could easily go on longer than that if Takahahishi decides to keep pumping out stories for the characters in the manga.

Wouldn't they stop the manga when Inuyasha and Kagome find the last of the shards, and Inuyasha makes his choice between Demon and Human?

And Sesshoumaru can't be killed by Inuyasha, because of (SPOILER) the Tensaiga (sp)

There was apparantly a lot of fans wanting to see it continue. I don't know the main character's status at that point, but given the quality so far, if it does continue, it may well be good stuff well beyond.

Alright, SPOILER ALERT

Okay, as everyone else already said, Sesshoumaru is still alive, he just lost that arm. The dragon in question is named Ryutotsei (sp?), and he's the one that gave Inu Yasha and Sesshoumaru's dad the wounds that killed him. He was so strong that IY's dad couldn't even kill him, just seal him with either one of his claws, or one of his fangs (not the one that was used to create Tetsusaiga (IY's sword; Iron Rendering Fang) and Tensaiga (Sesshoumaru's sword; Heaven Rendering Fang). He appears around episode 50.

EVEN BIGGER SPOILER WARNING

When Tetsusaiga is broken by Naraku's detatchment, Goshinki, Totousai (the forger of the two swords) uses one of IY's own fangs to repair it. However, since IY is a lot weaker than his dad, the sword became so heavy that IY could barely swing it with both hands. In order to fix this, Totousai told him that he had to kill Ryutotsei with Tetsusaiga so that he can gain power equal or superior to his dad. Since Ryutotsei was sealed, this was no real danger. However, Naraku found out about this, and when IY showed up, he destroyed the fang/claw and Ryutotsei woke up and proceeded to pimpslap him. However, in the end, IY managed to gain the power needed to surpass the mountain destroying dragon youkai and learned the Bakuryuuha (Exploding Dragon Wave), an attack that turns his opponents power against him, but it only works against energy projectiles that are weaker than his own raw power. After this battle, IY gains the ability to use the Kaze no Kizu (Wound of the Wind) at will, without having to create the aura interaction first.

END MEGA SPOILERS
"What's that smear on the wall, Mommy?"
"That used to be Spider-Man, honey."
"What killed him?"
"A zipper. Some said it was velcro, but the Daily Bugle said it was a zipper, and I believe the Bugle."
"Wow, he musta been real stupid, huh?"
"Yes honey, he was."
