It's a little more than just being gay verilon. I'm very heterosexual and still, many times, have come under the same category of discrimination. It's more of a thing where you register to the person as not mundane, even being calm, clean cut, and polite as possible. They technically can't discriminate against you, but that hasn't stopped people from being rude and doing so anyways.

True enough.. and hopefully I'll be getting a job with doing some web design, and I am for sure getting signed on another contract with someone to get some web developing done and get a percentage of the profit (though I am not yet sure how much).

It's a rather simple, sneaky process, they say they'll give you a call later on and neglect to. Then when you try to get back to them they give you some brainless excuse, and say they'll call you back sometime next week. I think a great chunk of economic woes have been caused by this particular style of dishonesty.

Or, they ask for your name, tell you they're not hiring, and throw your app out the window.

Well, I've went for a year now with no income and no support from the government......why?
I do have occasional work as a bouncer, but I've not had any of that in 6 months and the pay is terrible and the conditions....well....they send me to scum hole dives to work the door ON MY OWN and then, expect me to pay for the dry cleaning to get the blood off my clothes........

I do not qualify for any support from the government because I do not fit into any of the categories....despite being close to many of them.....such as medical grounds for extreme depression and the like but apparently I have to be officially depressed for over 2 years before they can give me any help.....meanwhile a window down from the helpful people telling me this, I could overhear some asshat being told how he could get benifits to help pay his court fines......

I actually checked...if I had been thrown out my home by my family I would NOT qualify for any help/benifits or the like....I would have been on the streets and peniless....yay eh?

Tell me again about how things really do work to help people?
