As has been said by US officials, if he's dead we will likely never know. Personally I think he very likely was at least wounded in the first strike. If he's gone into hiding I doubt we will hear from him again for decades, if ever. No nation would openly shelter him now, a not many would do so covertly.

Supposedly, a tape was released, made on the 9th, of him talking to a cheering crowd of people in some village square. It was on Abu-Dhabi TV. But I doubt it, it shows him in his dictator's Army uniform, which he probably would not wear now since it would detract from his ability to blend into a crowd, and he has been betrayed twice before to the Americans...
