But I have a special place in my heart for those old (Mid-late 90s I think?) Miller Time commercials. They had a surreal Pythonesque flavor to them that was great.

The "Got Milk?" campaign had some real gems too.

A Grizzly bear catches a salmon out of a river and some fisherman comes charging out of nowhere and tackles the bear. They proceed to have a kung fu fight and the fisherman eventually wins by kicking the bear in the nutz.

Its shot from a ways off and looks totally believale which is why I laughed so hard.

Youve probably all seen it, it made the rounds on the internet a while back.

Seeing a commercial thread, I can't help but think of an ad my bro and I thought up some years ago...........

STORMSTROOPER: The cakes are not in the main refrigerator
DARTH VADER:Where are those pastries? What hve you done with those desserts?
CAPTAIN: We intercepted......no twinkies........we're on a Hostess mission....
DV:If this is a Hostess ship, then where is the cream filling?!

Pretty corny. huh?

There is a radio commercial for a local car lot that's been an on-running joke for 10 years, all because of the three characters in it: "Tom Peden" the tightwad owner of the car lot, "Mark Down" the employee that is always running around slashing prices of the cars on the lot, and "Narrator" who's deep voice and wry humor really sets off the show.

Each 'episode' has Mark Down concocting some crazy scheme to either 'help' Tom Peden sell cars, or to make his life 'easier'. Of curse, it always backfires. (Narrator: [sarcasm]"Indeed"[/sarcasm]) The current episodes have Nascar driver Benny Parsons coming to the car lot because he's Mark Down's new friend, and Tom Peden doesn't believe he's really *that* Benny Parsons. It's absolutely hilarious....

Of course, it's funnier when you can hear them for yourself.

The Agent Provecture advert staring Kylie Minogue. In it she says she will demonstrate the effective ness of the Lingerie by wearing some while riding a mechanical bull. She then smirks and asks the men in the cinema to stand up. It was banned from british TV and only shown in the cinema. I used to have it on my HD but it died.

The Honda ads are great, especially the latest.

The you have the Foster adverts, those are damn hilarious and the famed Tango "You know when you've been Tangoed" ads which were pulled as school kids started slapping anyone who drank Tango.

As my connection is crap, is that the escape the beer-belly ad or the escape the couch one or another one?

Oh and for Star Wars, you can't beat the Tunes ad years ago with the Imp officer on the Death Star offering Vader some Tunes to clear his breathing problem. Dark shadow lingers over the guy and you can guess what happens next.

Back in the 90's there was a very good commercial for the Norvegian Airlines. (i think it was their's...)

A man was in hurry to get home with a single red rose.
As he entered his flat he take a look to the next room across the keyhole and saw his wife sitting at the table, in the other room.

He quickly dropped off all his clothes.

Totally naked and with the red rose in his mouth he slammed the door open and entered the room where his wife were, just to find her having lunch with her parents.

Then the narrator said on a kind voice: Travel your family with Norvegian Airlines.

There's a Capital One credit card ad that ends with heavy cavalry chasing a poor smuck on a riding lawnmower because he doesn't have there card. Funny as hell.

And of course, the latest Superbowl Budweiser commerical - two busty chicks get into a catfight over why they drink Bud lite. That one is just this side of soft-porn.

Stchop, this thread is not ready yet! You haven't included the brilliant Grosch adverts with that Dutch guy that goes Stchop!

others:
-Real men of genius ones that someone else has mentioned.

-Rolling Rock advert where the guy is asking an American Football player why they call it football when their foot hardly touches the ball. As a football (That's right! It's called football not soccer!) fan i found this hilarious!

-The Foster's "He who drinks Austrailian" adverts.

-One for some self defence class that shows a doctor slapping a new born babies bottom and then getting kicked in by the baby.

-The adverts for the Matrix Reloaded. Their adverts and they rock!

-The "This summers biggest action hero" parody of Spiderman for Star Wars Attack of the CLones.

The Peugot ad. If you don't know which one I'm talking about, then you obviously haven't seen it.
