I like it. It's one of those movies that's best when not taken too seriously. :D

For me it was like Starship Troopers, quite funny if not taken seriously.

Yes it is.

Did anyone else here develop a crush on Milla Jovovich after seeing it?

"I am a meat popsicle."

Kickass movie. Bruce Willis shoots people, and Gary Oldmans just....weirdly entertaing and evil. Plus, the car chase is what inspired AOTC's adventure in the streets of Coruscant.

Fifth Element is seriously one of the coolest movies I've ever seen. Bruce Willis rocks.

"Leeloo Dallas Multipass. Multipass...MULTIPASS!!!"

Plus it had Bilbo. Always a plus.

Whatever you do...don't press the little red button....

BOOM!

I can't believe I haven't bought it yet. Sure they always run it on the movie channels (can't blame them), but I really want to see it right now.

The only downside is how long it would take to decide what to shoot.

The Zorg Industries X-1 was great, I can't think of a cooler sci-fi weapon.

Machine gun that can track its targets, missle launcher, flamethrower, freezethrower, net launcher, dart launcher, and the good 'ol self destruct.

I couldn't think of a cooler one either. 8)

All in a handy-dandy lightweight package. I think we found a Stormie replacement.

Not to mention enough ammo for a couple modern soldiers all in one magazine, though they must be small as shit.

Must be caseless, hypervelocity rounds that do some mean damage in standard mode but can switch to special ceramic head guided rounds if needed. Even without the normal gun, you still have the flamer and net gun to help and the other goodies.

Plus, it's non-detectable by x-ray scanners.

Bah, the whole premise of the movie is flawed.

That girl is not the 5th element. Boron is the 5th element. Just look at the periodic table of elements. It's right there!

:D

Seriously though, I enjoyed it. Now I just need to find it on DVD.

I LOVE the Fifth Element.

"The ZF1! It's light, handles adjustable for easy carrying. Good for both righties and lefties. Breaks down into four parts, undetectable by x-ray. Ideal for quick, discreet interventions. A word on firepower. Titanium recharger. 3,000 round clip with bursts of 3 to 300. With a replay button, another Zorg invention, its even easier. One shot and replay sends every following shot to the same location. And to finish the job, all Zorg oldies but goldies. Rocket launcher. Arrow launcher with explosive or poisonous gas heads. Our famous net launcher. The always efficient flame thrower... my favorite. And for the grand finale, the all new ice cube system."

Yes, I have that commited to memory. Zorg is the greatest. :D

I thought that that was an unbelievably stupid movie. Not coincidentally, my brother seems to have really enjoyed it.
