In this context, no. Scientific theories may be proved wrong, but they'll just be replaced by another. And what all of them have in common is that they all assume that the phenomena in question are the product of natural laws. Hence, there is no and will never be 'the supernatural' in science.

I thought here we were talking about science, not atheism. The fact that you cannot even distringuish the two is alarming.
The same applies to atheism, though: it has no doctrine of the spiritual or supernatural, and hence cannot be a religion.

I do not qualify for any support from the government because I do not fit into any of the categories....despite being close to many of them.....such as medical grounds for extreme depression and the like but apparently I have to be officially depressed for over 2 years before they can give me any help.....meanwhile a window down from the helpful people telling me this, I could overhear some asshat being told how he could get benifits to help pay his court fines...... )
