Human rights should never be dictated to be dismissable by any political organ.

The UNSC is a joke, and the General Assembly gives North Korea, Angola, and Somalia equal representation as Germany or Australia.

I actually don't really have a problem with that particular portion of the UN, but I think that the SC should be expanded to act as a sort of "higher house" in the legislative process. If countries like Germany, Australia, Japan and Spain could be given a more permanent membership in an organization higher than the regular General Assembly, then they could actually get things done. The problem with it is not that the GA itself gives equal representation to small or belligerent countries as it does to large, responsible ones, but that the entire UN is set up to give nearly equal representation to all but the most historically important nations.

The United Nations Organisation would function best when dissolved. Keep in mind that the UNO is a "better" League of Nations, and it has proven no more worthwhile an endeavour than that dismal failure.

Do you realise that the butchers of Tiananmen Square are on the Security Council? That the slavekeepers of Syria are on the Human Rights Commission? That the mass murderers of Uncle Joe's Soviet Union, the proprietors of the Gulag archipelago, had three votes in the General Assembly, and a permanent veto in the Security Council?

What legitimacy?
