Before class.
I would consider that the wrong time to be drinking, not too early to be drinking.

In social situations, I sometimes start early,

such as Circle Line Pub Crawls, when you HAVER to start at 11 or you'll never do it.

And the Rock Soc picnic.

If I'm going out, I pour my first glass of wine when I start getting ready.
If I'm staying in, then I'll start when the film starts.

If you studied while drunk, it only makes sense to take the test drunk too. Duh. :D

Part of the experience of an american football game is a nice tradition called "Tailgating." Basically, you get a bunch of guys to sit in a parking lot at seven or eight in the morning if gametime is noon, and you grill greasy food and commence heavy consumption of alcohol. If you make it to gametime, you're so fired up you don't know what to do with yourself. The three hours you spend sitting in the stadium is designed as the time where you sort of sober up, and when you get back to the parking lot you can either continue drinking into the night or pack up and go home. Either way, it's a damn good time if you get the right crowd. Hence, football season is usually the only time where I pop open a beer before noon. Otherwise I just feel dirty.

the only time i ever drank in the morning was when i took a road trip with some friends (all guys) to Montreal. got shitfaced on Molson the night before so we cracked open a case of Sleeman's for breakfast (10:00) but, technically that doesn't count because i was out of the country :D

Tailgate parties is something that everybody needs to experience. We go to the Kansas City Chiefs (no jokes :P ) games early all the time to tailgate. Not only is there the beer, but great food all over the place. Tailgating parties have become a national past time. (As they should!)

i've been to parties that lasted 4 days straight so theres never really such a thing as too early in my book. Also when my depression was at it's worst i've cracked open my 1st can of beer at 7:30am.

It's too early to drink if you're still asleep. Anytime after that is fair game. Though I prefer sweeter liquor like rum or vodka and orange juice in the morning to whiskey or beer.
