I was channel-surfing at home when I suddenly noticed my cable provider has given me a new 24-hour anime channel, then this commercial about Astroboy / Tetsuwan Atom pops up and shows some new footage. Unfortunately I didn't make out the time / date of screening so I'm not sure if it was an OAV/series or movie.
If you can read Japanese, you can check it out here.

I used to have a 24-hour animation channel here, but it got cancelled or something because South Park I think... then it came back, and in revenge showed the one about censoring Terrance & Phillip like a hundred times a day. Then they dropped most of the cool, old cartoons like Cliffhanger (Lu-pan (sp?)) and other oldies and substituted them with uncensored Anime 99% of the time (not hentai) like Akira or GunSmithCats or whatever. At that point I became bored, apparently everybody else did too, so the local cable service simply removed it. The only people who cared were those who missed the old stuff, not the new stuff.

If there is a new Astroboy series won't it just be silly anime designed to appeal to DBZ fans?
"Oh no, oh yeah, tell me how can it be so fair
That we dying younger hiding from the police man over there
Just for breathing in the air they wanna leave me in the chair
Electric shocking body rocking beat streeting me to death"

"I think it’s the duty of the comedian to find out where the line is drawn and cross it deliberately."
