Not from McDonalds? HEATHEN! Grimace will kick that 'Juicer' in his FUCKING THROAT and take his strawberry shake.

*hires Grimace to do the above, throws in vanilla shake as an incentive*
*Watches Grimace get the shit beat out of him.* Dude, just don't even try against a Juicer. He's stronger than any average person, and many unaverage people.

RedImperator wrote:This forum is a bit unusual as probably the majority of denziens are veterans of either Spacebattles (not as a big a percentage of them as in the earlier days, I don't think) or ASVS. And Mike has come up with a pretty good system for letting the board police itself without moderators going on power trips. The rules are strict where they need to be and nowhere else. Humiliation is the standard punishment for being an ass instead of banning. And there's a lot of really smart people on this board, so that's probably helpful in keeping away idiot newbies who can ruin forums.
Besides the members who are simply sci-fi fans or groupies, a lot of us are people who just started out on the same 'pro-logic' bandwagon as Mike, and had read his site to death out of interest of his style and personal perspectives. When he opened his forum, we already knew what to expect and came here looking for it.
Note: I'm semi-retired from the board, so if you need something, please be patient.

Both of them suck. *hits switch on desk*

*an orbiting satellite launches a Stealth Piano - that's right, totaly invisible to radar! - onto both of them, crushing the two entirely*

But alas, the shake I gave him is gone forever.

In any other thread, perhaps, but it seems quite appropriate in this thread, in a dry sort of way

I've been poking around here since Sept/Nov of last year. Things seem roughly the same as then, just bigger and more specialized. It's cool that the depth has kept constant as the breadth increased.

It's a helluva lot harded to keep up now though. I used to be able to read every thread here, and now, with all the traffic, I can't keep up!
Of course, being terribly distracted by real life as of late has been a problem too :)

You know, I don't think I'm the only one here who's getting tired of interesting threads getting turned into +1 spamfests. There's an entire Goddamn forum for TGODing now.
