"Either God wants to abolish evil, and cannot; or he can, but does not want to. ... If he wants to, but cannot, he is impotent. If he can, but does not want to, he is wicked. ... If, as they say, God can abolish evil, and God really wants to do it, why is there evil in the world?" -Epicurus

This one is quite darkly humorous:

Some of the other cards are tasteless in the extreme, though.

"Right now we can tell you a report was filed by the family of a 12 year old boy yesterday afternoon alleging Mr. Michael Jackson of criminal activity. A search warrant has been filed and that search is currently taking place. Mr. Jackson has not been charged with any crime. We cannot specifically address the content of the police report as it is confidential information at the present time, however, we can confirm that Mr. Jackson forced the boy to listen to the Howard Stern show and watch the movie Private Parts over and over again."

The conspiracy morons didn't wait too long to put the blame of the attack on CIA secret agents, just like the Reichstag fire was of Hitler's forces responsability. That's how I read it, anyway.

I've got the exact same picture of Reichstag as the one in the card in my high school history book under the chapter describing the Spring Of Nations (I could have screwed up the name, I'm literally translating from Polish)
Maybe the author tried to relate it to an uprising of the opressed or something?

Uh-huh. 60,000 graduates, and 300 are linked to war crimes. Some terrorist training camp. Ft. Benning has a better ratio of assholes to regular guys than a lot of domestic police departments among its alumni. Jesus Christ, the school is set up so our allies can send their best and brightest officers to us for military training, and somebody acts like it's a giant conspiracy when a few of those those officers, who end up with high ranks because they've got advanced training and had the skills and/or connections to get sent to Georgia in the first place, turn up with their fingerprints all over atrocities committed by their governments. Well no shit--they're not going to send Jose Schmoe to eliminate political enemies, they're going to send trusted, loyal officers, the kind you don't mind sending overseas for training. You want to criticize America's foreign policy in Latin America, fine, be my guest--there's plenty to gripe about down there. But calling the SOA (or whatever they renamed it) a terrorist training camp is just stupid.

That whole site was a steaming pile of shit. A very well done steaming pile of shit, but brown and smelly all the same.

So other than being another round of the Big Lie "America is Evil," what's interesting about this, anyway?

It tries to have a sense of humor. However, it's just a few inches past my line between "funny" and "offensive". The ones Tysroc posted were chuckle-worthy, though.

Because when we Americans are bashed in images liek these anywher e(including this board it seems sometime) we either "deserve it" or we're told to put up with it. But Euro bashing just "serves to prove that Americans are assholes"

Fuck this hypocrisy, pretty damn sick of it.

I'm not a huge fan of the "impeach war criminal bush" school of anti-war protesting. I'm inclined to lock this tripe.

I agree. While some of them have a bit of a saving grace, most are completely retarded and offensive, especially to Americans.

The United States Army School of the Americas was officially closed 12 December 2000. The Western Hemisphere Institute for Security Cooperation at Fort Benning, Georgia, is officially a different entity.

While we're talking about war-images, I thought this would be... um... relevant.

The fifth or sixth variation of that pic i've seen, get original.
