Sci-Fi "magic", for the most part, really.

Telekinesis? No.
Pyrokinesis? Hell no.
Precognition? ...no. Making very, very good guesses, however, yes.

I say that while some things are highly improbable, I wouldn't say that they are impossible.

Do note, however, that he asks if it is plausible or not, not if it is possible or not.

We've been here before......

But the "kineses" I don't much believe in.. the telepathy and precog, I do.. mostly from experience. I would point names out, but that's on their own choice.. Their disclosures, not mine.

Agreed. And I do firmly believe in precognition. Ever heard of deja-vu? Some people can actually remember that feeling before it actually happens.

This is the part where normal people will realize that, in order to have pyrokinesis or telekinesis, you have to be consciously projecting something from your brain or body that is capable of interacting with matter. And all the protests and guesses of paranormal psychologists aside, you will have to rebuild the human brain before you'll do that. Jeez, if you want to move matter by power of will, then will your damn hands to pick the thing up.

As for precognition, it's a load of crap. This is because there is a VERY FINE LINE between being able to see the future and being able to predict the future. Just the same, when people say they can 'sense' what others are feeling or thinking, that is nothing more than people being perceptive to the often subtle physical cues that people give off in different environmental or emotional states.

Anything else, and you're a loon. I went through a whole phase of life where I was chasing about with these kinds of people, and trust me, the possibility of human supernatural ability is zilch.
Note: I'm semi-retired from the board, so if you need something, please be patient.

Most "psychics" are either charlatans, or extraordinarily skilled stage magicians.
