Looks like an octogenarian furry...

Scanning pencilled images can be a pain in the ass. I don't have any good tips on fixing it except try switching it to a black and white photo.

Hm... the face is a bit... squished. It needs to be a little rounder and the shading makes the snout look squared off. The body looks great, though. And I like the ears and hair.

as for the scan, depends on how you had your settings.

Yeah, it's the extra lines around the eyes.

the hard lines around her snout... makes it look like she has a box for a nose.

Oh, and scan in greyscale. That will help. Single color ink in color just doesn't scan well.

She's a deer? Oh, okay... I thought she was feline. my bad. in that case, the face is a bit too wide. Needs to be a bit thinner or lengthen the snout a little to make it look that way.

Actually, since, I didn't use any reference photos, it could be anything.. So, no biggie. :)

And lengthening the snout tends to make it look masculine, in my opinion.

And thanks for the criticism. I'll keep it in mind when I make my next drawing.

Prepare for criticism...

Well, it looks a bit like a sculpture. Apart from that, the drawing doesn't look bad - it's certainly better than anythign I could produce.

Ah, gee, thanks. :D And I just started drawing about seven months ago.

Now, for a sexier pose...

EDIT: For some reason, it doesn't look quite as choppy here.. http://www.starport33.com/ib/uploads/po ... 107562.gif
