Seaman for dreamcast
I like this game and want to play it again, but I wonder I've heard is the game like a responsibility that you can't walk away from, you can't just save the game, and come back where you left off, with the seaman as you left him, it's like having a baby and you can't shut it off and leave it there, he's active even when you're not playing the game, always on, you get the idea. And this game fascinated me, an attempt to create an AI, basically, looks fun to talk to him and see how he responds, etc.

I own Seaman. The game is quite cool!
Yes, you are correct about this game. You MUST check in on Seaman daily or he will:
a. Starve
b. Suffocate (clean out his water)
c. Freeze
You'll start of with a few Seamen....but they'll slowly die off or kill one another. Finally, you have your main Seaman that you take care of.
It is a good idea to talk to him frequently....like you would a baby. After a while, he will develop and actually start talking to you, as opposed to spouting out gibberish.
There was supposed to be a PS2 version of this game....I don't know if it ever made it out here in the US.
If you own a DC, it's worth tracking down. It shouldn't be too difficult to find at Gamestop, Babbage's or Electronics Boutique.
All three shops in my area (Houston, TX) carry DC games and I've seen a few copies of Seaman here and there. Hell the Toys R Us down the street from my apartment still has a big selection of NEW Dreamcast games!
RIP DC, you went before your time!

MUWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!
