Doesn't work. Technobabble is good for ST and bad for SW. They were already paraphrasing stuff from the Essentials Guides in an attempt to say SW technobabble is inferior to ST technobabble.

phasers not being EM radiation may not be affected by imperial shields at all... on the other hand they may be... im not sayoing either way... im saying there is not enough evidence to support either claim... (the defiants plasma phasers would though... since they are actually physical charged projectiles)
