Actually, I do know a guy who has had a 3 hour limit per day put on him...
He probably placed that limit on himself or the owner of his account placed that limit.

Why hollowpoints? An FMJ will be just as effective on that type of target, and cost much less. And if you say that HPs are cheap over there, I'm gonna bonk you over the noggin with the butt of my rifle :D
As a matter of fact...

Heh, I bought a box of 6.5 Swedish JHP not long ago for 7 bucks at a gun show. Sellier and Bellot, not top of the line, but a decent brand. Ammo is somewhat cheap around here. Plus, I reload, which makes it much cheaper, and reloaded ammo can be customized to your uses and preferences.

And Comcast is one of the affected ISPs, according to the reports. If you're using the SMTP server that Comcast (should) provide, you shouldn't have any trouble (although I think they're blocking Verizon's official SMTP servers).

The fact that this wont throw them into bankruptcy is a good demonstration of the intelligence of AOL users

Why does AOL exist? If it was an animal it would've been out evolved by plankton by now and cast into the realms of extinction.

Fortunately, AOL-Time Warner are losing cash. A shitload of it.

But, but, it is so easy to keep any and all 'objectionable' material from your 5 year old kids!

Ain't it grand?

Anyone know how easy it is to get past those blocking systems? I have heard it is easy as cake.

Yeah... don't use the AOL browser, use Mozilla.

That should do it, since I don't believe AOL's proxies do the filtering (which would be necessary for complete blocking).

This reminds me of the Onion article where Ted Turner travels back in time to prevent the merger. I couldn't be happier if that actually happened.

AOL's priority is to get new members, you would be shocked at how low the priority of support is for current members. When I worked in the password department the average wait time was an hour long, while potential new members calling in were automatically shifted to the front of the wait list.

Whoever came up with that idea should not be in business.

Also, they treat their employees like shit.

It wasn't a letter in the sense that I wrote, it came as a popup notice when we logged in, we rang the company and they confirmed it.

Alrighty, I have a friend whose parents insist on AOL, no matter how much he objects, and they have some stupid parental controls up.

Damn, I am glad that AOL isn't even offered back home...

Due to you're extensive use of our service we are limiting you to 40 minutes a day.

Were you paying for "unlimited" access at the time? LMAO, AOL is truly ran by monkeys.....I just can't believe they would do something like that. I thought that kind of stupidity was beyond even them........

I should have clarified this. If you have an email server on a DHCP lease, your emails get blocked. Not if you have an email address from an ISP and your computer is assigned a DHCP lease.

I use AOL since I started on the Internet back in 94. I have no real complaints about them and don't understand some of the vitrol but then again I am not a uber internet guy, I hardly know what an ISP is so I'm not one to gauge I guess.
