I agree with Akm72, while Chewie and Obi-Wan weren't all ol'-buddy-huggy, they did see to be talking quite companionably.

Spoiler warning for chocolator!!!!
1. Anakin will be Vader.
2. Luke's and Leia's mother is Padme
3. Palpatine is Sidious
Where do you live on the far side of the Pluto?
What are you doing here if such common knowledge surprised you?
Chewie will have some side-role in Episode III, nothing really important.

But how will they pronounce it?? I've heard it's pronounced "Kazook", although I routinely pronuonce it "Kasheek." (with focus on the "eek")Gandalf wrote:Might we get to see Kashyyyk?

I always thought the name Kashyyyk is a bit stupid.Simon H.Johansen wrote:But how will they pronounce it?? I've heard it's pronounced "Kazook", although I routinely pronuonce it "Kasheek." (with focus on the "eek")Gandalf wrote:Might we get to see Kashyyyk?
Wookies inhabit the planet and they probably named it. Since I never heard Chewbacca saying "K" it's probably sounds different.
Or the Empire renamed the planet and it's name is now Kashyyyk. Then I think it sounds Kasheek...

I've always pronounced it with a yawn, since that seems to be the way Wookiees speak...Simon H.Johansen wrote:But how will they pronounce it?? I've heard it's pronounced "Kazook", although I routinely pronuonce it "Kasheek." (with focus on the "eek")

I put the word "Kashyyyk" into the Amiga program "Say" (which is, IIRC, one of the ones that Hawking used back in the day), without giving it any guidance other than the letters themselves. It pronounced it thusly:
Kash - eye - eye - eye - k
I'm positive it isn't supposed to be prounounced that way, but ever since I did that, I think of that pronunciation when I see the word.

And you may ask yourself, 'Where does that highway go to?'

I find it amusing how sdnet consistently knows the news a week or more before the tv and net stations.
